What are ending sounds? Ending sounds are the letter sounds at the end of a word. Examples of these are: t in cat, g in dog, n in pen, and d in hand.This game is a great way for your child to identify ending sounds. It will show your child either 12 (practice mode) or 24 (play mode) images and ask them to pick the all the images that end with a certain letter sound.
They can play in two modes:
Practice Mode - This mode is great for a child just starting to learn about ending sounds. If they pick the wrong image the game gives them a hint. For more assistance, they can hit the help button to have game will say the name and show the spelling of the incorrect images.
Play Mode - This mode challenges your child by earning points for each correct answer. Each level they complete gives them less time to find the images. If they run out of time they have to start the level over. Finish all five levels to win!
