1 ★Well, I stuck with it but..This game gets incredibly slow and boring. The farther along you progress, the buildings and land become outrageously expensive. It takes days of simply collecting money until you can afford your next building. There's been a few times I've lost my daily reward. They give you the option to watch a video and double your reward. But in order to collect, you have to log out and log back in, then collect. Several times I've done this, only to log back in & my reward gone.
4 ★I really like the game. its fun to play. the only thing i do not like is if you happen to exit out of the game for a few seconds and come back to the game, your buildings go up HOURS! For instance something that only took a minute to upgrade now takes 9 hours to complete. its like you have to always be on the game for your buildings not to go up. Also, i use to get houses etc in the brown chests now all i get is money keys and tokens. Its not worth getting the chests anymore. Please FIX THIS.
5 ★I love the way the money and keys are collected. It's always fun to collect. Having a great time playing ! l finally found a game that fits all my gaming needs. I like the great graphics, earning while not playing, different islands that creates a sense of playing more than one game at a time, there's always something to do and the decorations are refreshing! Thank You!
2 ★Starts out pretty fun. The game is clearly designed to make you want to build... and the only way to make progress efficiently is to buy (with real money) more cranes. The timers that generate revenue and construction are painfully slow... but you can speed them up, (with real money). The buildings are only able to be purchased with game money a few times, before it switches to gold coins only. Gold coins are very hard to come buy, unless you buy them... with real money. It's a trap.
4 ★Love the games but you need more opportunities to earn more gold. It seems to be geared to purchase the gold and it limits how far you can go. The new propertys are all for sale for high amounts of gold with very little ways to get more without having to spend money in the game. Which sucks. There are allot of ads and that's fine. That's what keeps the game free but it's not really free if you can't get the new propertys without buying large amounts of gold. Other then that the games are fun.
3 ★I like the gameplay and the weather is a nice addition. I'm a new player (5 days in). At first, there were no ad pop ups. But now instead of choosing when to see an ad (for example, to double a reward), ads pop up randomly while I'm in the middle of an action. I could be collecting money from a building or a car, and without warning an ad intrudes. It's pretty awful and I'm thinking of uninstalling. I figure other Sparkling Society games are like this too so I won't be trying any others.
5 ★Nice game to relax with, build a city, see people walk around your design, no real pressure at all. From a birdseye perspective, you can zoom in and out a great distance with impressive clarity. One of my all time favorites. These folks are on top of business, I mentioned that something became harder to get, and they have adjusted the situation nicely, definitely worth a try.
3 ★I've watched several ads for free treasure boxes and instant completion but it bugged out. Either freezes the timer for exchanging silver keys for gold, or the treasure box can't be opened at all. The rest of the game is played as expected of any other City Island game: build, house/employ, collect. Random ad every 10-30 mins. But I hate wasting several mins of ads(altogether) to have it bug out.
3 ★I downloaded this because I wanted a good time-waster game that works offline for a plane trip. Works well for that. It's fun but repetitive - gets boring after a while. Devs: seriously, you need to change the population / employee increase to work in the background or on a timer. Staring at the screen for several minutes because you accidentally long-pressed a boosted building is as exciting as watching paint dry. Not cool.
2 ★I dont think I should have to pay money for everything in a game. I can understand the exotic items and rare items, but not the low level stuff. After placing 1 or 2 items down, then being directed to spend real money for more of the same item... that's ridiculous and causes people to uninstall games. You have advertisements. That should be enough to keep these games playable and if someone does want to pay, then that's just profit. When I reach the point I have to spend real money, I unistall.
3 ★So much potential but not quite hitting the mark just yet. Graphics and detail are amazing. Love city planning games and there's a lot to choose from here to customize. Of course there's paid premium options but these feel very forced. Once you get a certain number of an item, say a residence, you have to start paying with gold coins which you can earn by watching ads relentlessly or paying for them so if you're not rich or very patient, I'm afraid your towns will all look very redundant.
2 ★It says to connect to facebook, which I don't like to do, to get more awards but I haven't seen one bit of difference which is frustrating that you guys would lie about that!! I thought it would make the game more interesting but it hasn't so most likely I will uninstall because it's pretty boring. It takes forever to get to next level to get more homes and to travel to new area costs way too much
