RADIO UNA VOCE VICINA nasce nel 1977 in Carlentini, grazie alla lungimirante intuizione del parroco Mons. Giovanni Maria Sortino. Il 16 agosto 1990 è stata costituita in Associazione, registrata presso il Tribunale di Siracusa il 26 aprile 1977; è stata iscritta al Registro degli Operatori di Comunicazione nr. 8364 il 29 agosto 2001; è stato concesso l’esercizio della radiodiffusione sonora in ambito locale e a carattere comunitario, con Decreto definitivo del Ministero delle Poste e delle Comunicazioni in data 4 marzo 1994 e tale Decreto è stato registrato alla Corte dei Conti il 7 settembre 1994. Trasmette ininterrottamente dall’ottobre 1978. Oggi è l’unica emittente radiofonica del triangolo Carlentini, Lentini e Francofonte, tra qualche mese con una finestra televisiva.
