遊戲說明:玩家分為「平民」及「臥底」兩個身份陣營，
遊戲開始時所有玩家皆會得知一組詞語（謎底），平民陣營玩家所得之的詞皆相同，臥底亦同，雙方皆不知道身份情況開始輪流誠實描述所看見詞語，禁止說謊及其他作弊行為，所有玩家講述一輪後依照陳述進行投票要擊殺的玩家（即找出臥底），擊殺一名玩家後並重複描述、擊殺直至臥底全部陣亡即平民獲得勝利，亦可限制遊戲回合數來制定勝利條件。
另可視需求添加「白板」，唯有白板不會獲得詞語，需要根據其他玩家描述來推測可能詞語，可進行任意描述並盡可能不被發現身份。
特定回合數後（回合數通常為臥底人數或臥底人數多一回合），進行勝利條件判定，例如臥底（含白板）為 2 人，則描述及擊殺進行 2+1 共 3 次。
勝利條件：
「平民」：所有臥底死亡（含白板）。
「臥底」：臥底尚有人存活，且白板已被揪出。
「白板」：未被擊殺，則白板單獨勝利，「平民」及「白板」皆為失敗方。
