3 ★The game is fun and diverse and addictive. But you have to go into the game with the understanding that you'll always be behind unles you spend ridiculous amounts of money. If this wasnt associated with Marvel and the fanbase it brings i believe the game would have died out a long time ago. The prices of orbs, characters and gear is disgusting... literally charging the same price as a full console game (£30-£50) for a character unlock If you go in with a free-to-play mentality you'll be okay.
3 ★Well I went to 3 stars because I'm getting a little more Intrest in the game but it's still not as good as it used to be for me at least. I was able to fix a bug that was happening which helped but then I also still have problems with the game like still way to much grinding and everything. There is other things but they dont have to do with playing the game. Hope that makes sense
3 ★Used to be a great game but got deep on pay-to-win. They keep releasing characters faster then we can build the previous and alredy obsolete, and also keep building bottlenecks with low drop rate for f2p. Daily play on late game feels more like a daily obligation, as a job, then something to have fun. Its just sad, cause had a great community - not sure for much longer.
2 ★Holy wow what a cash grab. It sends you advertisements to buy things probably 75% of the time you click on something(sometimes even after you click close on an ad). The prices are absolutely ridiculous for a chance to get pieces of a character. The game play is basically a turn base rpg simulator and is mediocre at best. Avoid this game
3 ★Veteran player now a rookie with new content releases. I will still play this game, but less and less. The power of newly released characters has ruined years of farming. I was already trying to keep up with older releases, and that is taking in consideration I have already payed a substantial amount of money on game. New pay to play content can be even better then Legendary toons.
2 ★Marvel + turn based hero collector game should equal greatness. Unfortunately not the case. A shame how much TIME & MONEY they expect from the player community without giving quality content in return(constant errors/bugs.) Peer pressures like alliances are a strong mechanic in the game to keep players from leaving friendships built & quitting the game altogether. The game has gotten better in a months time, but still far from greatness.
2 ★FTP become P2W This game jsed to be great combining Marvel characters, teamwork, and tactics to take on challenging content and other players. In the 2021 updates, the model has changed to the typical Pay to Win model destroying all good games. At this point, every 2-3 months "new characters" are made up and added as the most powerful people able to one-shot entire teams. But, if you buy them...you are unstoppable even if your opponent put in years collecting shards for the lase set.
1 ★Game ain't the same. It's all about money and more money. The come out with some event that help but they need to do more. Black Widow event was great but we need more like it. You already rich so give back. Legendary shouldn't be hard to get either. And DD3 is dumb hard. 25 to 30 against 5 and they got superpower. Even the wack character kill you with 1 punch.
1 ★Long time player. This game is engaging at first, but the honeymoon is over after a few months. The further you get into the game, the less fun it becomes. Broken and un-fun game modes are forced upon you: war, rta, arena. War matchmaking needs a better algorithm. RTA needs to die as a required objective. Arena needs to have slingshotting fixed. Wish I could write more, but bottlenecks are a problem. They should exist for this type of game, but time should alleviate some. It doesn't.
3 ★It is fun to collect many characters. You can thrive as a free to play for a long time, but eventually the hard paywall comes. Why some shards for a weak character cost more than many full PC games is crazy. But some people have more money to burn and they buy these. When, after a long time, I finally got to "Dark Dimension III", that's when the paywall punched me in the face and broke my nose. Lately, the drive for pay to win has gotten worse and worse.
3 ★It's really hard to make me not love a marvel game. But the rng here is so god damn bad. You can spend 5 bucks to still get 0 items you run 20 attempts at. Worse still, they created the worse character of all time. I have such a joke with my alliance, because kestrel can 1 shot basically my entire roster before I even get a turn in RTA. I would normally spend money in a game like this, but definitely not since kestrel was released. Dead game, go anywhere else.
2 ★So far so good lots of characters. Only drag is your forced to use certain characters to unlock others. I still like the game but super annoying that I'm higher level and lose to weaker teams because they have a team bonus. Power should trump the team bonus especially when its more than double the power. Real Time Arena is becoming annoying. So many bugs and glitches
