Dengan berdiri sendiri, SLANK Formasi 14 yang berisi Kaka (vocal), Ivanka (bassist), Bimbim (drums), Ridho (Gitar) dan Abdee (Gitar juga) melepas album TUJUH yang berisi 14 lagu dan diedarkan dalam bentuk kaset dan compact disc yang dalam pendistribusiannya dibantu oleh Program/Virgo Rec. Hits single untuk album ini berjudul BALIKIN dan mengangkat kembali nama SLANK di industri musik Indonesia.

Lagu balikin ini bermakna sangat besar bagi Slank, karena lagu ini mewakili isi hati Bimbim, Kaka, dan Ivanka ingin sehat dari ketergantungan mereka terhadap narkoba.
Album pertama SLANK Formasi 14 ini berhasil terjual sebanyak 1 juta copy hanya dalam hitungan minggu.
Dalam album yang covernya berisi beragam simbol yang tidak asing dilihat mata ini, terdapat salah satu lagu yang batal SLANK luncurkan karena takut kena sensor, yaitu lagu “Siapa Yang Salah”. Maka dari itu, hanya lirik dari lagu tersebut yang hanya ditampilkan di album ketujuh SLANK ini. Itupun liriknya diburamkan dan dihalangi oleh tulisan "SENSOR".
Lagu "Jerry (Preman Urban)" hanya dimainkan oleh Bimbim dan Kaka, sedangkan lagu "Kopi Air Hujan" hanya dimainkan oleh Bimbim, Kaka, dan Ivanka.
Lirik lagu "PR Si Sum" dan "April" tidak terdapat dalam sampul album ini.
