India Satellite Weather APK Download for Android

Description

"A picture is worth a thousand words". A complex weather data can be conveyed easily with an image map. By observing the Cloud formations around your City, you can easily predict whether the day is going to be Hot or Rainy/Cloudy.

It is very well equipped with data caching capabilities and will never download duplicate data from the server. The downloaded weather maps will stored locally and can accessed offline.

This application fetches the weather maps directly from Indian Meteorological Department (www.imd.gov.in) and CIMSS [USA] (http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu)

FYI: I really don't have control on the missing north indian region of some map types because they are provided by USA Meteorological Department.

4 ★Good app..but older rainfall map was quickly updated..but now it's almost half day behind..

5 ★A very useful app. Definetaly tells the correct and exact geographical details. Really very helpful coz gives info bout the latest updates. Also thanks for such a brillant app. Feels like really having a watch through the satellite.

4 ★Do the job decently, no moving graphics. More resolution needed.

4 ★There should be an option to view a map showing visual cloud movement, i.e. a combination of wind firection and rainfall. You will then be the TOP rated weather app. The app will be truly beneficial if the viewer can see his own location (using a pin pointer). Hence, linking with GPS location is most essential. If you respond to my comments, only then will I know that you are not a robot!!!

5 ★Its a good app showing different maps in realtime but there should be common map wirh cloud and wind direction both to see the movement of clouds. In addition your interpretation regarding weather forecast should also be given based on these maps

4 ★In the rainfall data map, I would be like if you can give political map, showing various states (and I possible districts) and also include gps position to show our current location.

4 ★A simple app to access latest satellite images from the Indian Meteorological department. Does its job efficiently and without fuss. One less star because there's no provision to look at time series images.

5 ★I am using this since 5 months and it gives all necessary satellite images that can help understand weather to plan out. There are 5 images in live weather view 1. Infra: helps understand cloud location 2. Satellite: helps understand cloud location 3. Color composite : temperature in various areas 4. Heat map : temperature in depth of various areas. 5. Wind direction : wind direction view with arrows. Other views, weather forecast and temperature forecast. A good app for weather info of India.

5 ★Today 6th January and app is not updating Live Weather. 7th January:- Infrared and Heat sections are not updating for last 11days. 12-01-2020:-- At last my is working today. I felt handicapped for last few days. Today found so many changes. They are really good, refreshing. Your app is the only one which I rely as it gives extremely accurate weather forecast. Thanks. Keep up. You are doing a national service.
