Description

As a private detective in the backwater town of Logslow, you are no stranger to unexplained occurrences. However, when you wake up to discover that your wife has vanished off the face of the earth, you must embark on your most personal investigation to date.

You quickly discover that your wife’s mysterious disappearance may go much deeper than a simple abduction. Against a black winter night, you venture across Logslow’s bleak and desolate landscape in search of answers.

Through defiled cemeteries and abandoned buildings, downtrodden streets and prison cells, you uncover sights horrific enough to disturb even the most hardened detective. Bodies fall into your lap, all of which hint at a reality too harrowing to comprehend.

As you find yourself drawn into a world of occult rites and esoteric underground cults, bizarre visions and hallucinations blur the line between reality and illusion. You must question everything and everyone on your journey towards the truth.

2 ★Brainless "story"...guy doing things no one would do, or could (for example a DNA test oh just like that, by whim). Wife disappeared? Oh just sit and watch the news. Too stupidly written to be able to get into. Lack of SD install was the final nail...uninstalled.

2 ★I have to say I was disappointed the writing was okay but there just isn't enough of it I finished the whole game in under 30min with the loss of 1 sanity, I was shocked that the ending was actually the end of the game if that makes sense, I much prefer the freedom and the game mechanic's of the previous series I hope the developer goes back to that model, it's a real bummer for me as I really love the previous series, oh well.

5 ★Just as good as the Echoes of Cxcothl. Great addition to the series.

5 ★Really good story. Atmosphere of the game really gives you the creeps.

2 ★After multiple playthroughs, I've deduced this is an extremely linear story disguised as a branching path or "choose-your-own-adventure" style book. Despite it being fairly well-written its absolutely not recommended for what its attempting to achieve. I'm not even sure the attempt was there to begin with.

4 ★I enjoyed this game, while it's not quite as involving as the other karmic shift games, I'm still having massive amounts of fun & thrills going through the various story choices & endings to see how many I can get. Please keep up the good work & fantastic stories, I love them all

5 ★Definitely need more like this game. Great monsters and fun storyline

2 ★The story isn't intriuging and there is no music or sound effects except silence. The colors were bland and not interesting. It didn't convice me it was a scary text game. Personally i wouldn't recommended this, but it could improve if you add sounds and make the story more optinal. I can see that this could be a potentinally good game.

3 ★Had a good time playing although not quite on the excellent level of the old series. Certainly a solid Gothic detective story although I did miss the underlying humour that punctuated the earlier games. Probably the one thing missing was that it often felt like the player's choices didn't meaningfully affect the outcome (e.g. Choose option A, or choose B and get directed back to A) which detracted a bit from the replay value. Would love to see future releases with more varied storylines!

5 ★It's been a while since I checked on this creator. Saw this came out and I instantly paid a dollar as I'm a fan of all of the games on this creators page. I really like the pictures and the aesthetic of the game. Gory effed up story which I love. Wish it was a little longer but I can see the dedication that went in to making this and I'm playing it over and over trying to get different endings. I'll be recommending it. Please dont ever stop making games!
