Description

Convert audio and video directly on the device using FFmpeg http://ffmpeg.org/

FFmpeg is a set of open source libraries that allow you to record, convert digital audio and video recordings in various formats. It includes libavcodec, a library for encoding and decoding audio and video, and libavformat, a library for multiplexing and demultiplexing into a media container. The name comes from the name of the MPEG and FF expert group, meaning fast forward.
FFmpeg is already built into the program and does not require downloading additional codecs.
The conversion takes place directly on the device (the Internet is not required), and the conversion speed depends on the processor speed of the device.

Supports: MPEG4, h265, h264, mp3, 3gp, aac, ogg (vorbis and theora), opus, vp8, vp9 and many other formats (you will find the list in the app).

Requirements: Android 4.4 and the availability of the processor ARMv7, ARMv8, x86, x86_64.

FFmpeg with x264, x265, ogg, vorbis, theora, opus, vp8, vp9, mp3lame, libxvid, libfdk_aac, libvo_amrwbenc, libopencore-amr, speex, libsox, libwavpack, libwebp, librtmp

More options can be found in the help pages for FFmpeg.

For Android 11 users: New rules require the application to use more confidential methods of working with files on your device. You will have to copy/move the input files to a shared folder, such as DCIM, Movie, Music, Download. Sorry for the inconvenience

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

4 ★EXCELLENT idea, very good implementaion. Provides functionality I know of no other app providing. It's GREAT to be able to understand EXACTLY how it will encode. Needs easier ability for user to specify other than template encoding parameters, though the templates help. Should include an FFMPEG compile with more features, like AV1, if that would be slow. Until then, there should be another WEBM template for OPUS with VP9.
5 ★At last I can edit my audio and put it back into my freshly recorded videos without the need to revise (and loose quality each time). I use an app to record, but sound from microphones are too low or not enhanced, so another app to normalize, compress and noise gate the sound track, and finally merge back with ffmpeg. And this ffmpeg GUI is perfect for that, copy modes on video and audio tracks goes extremely fast. Happy me = 5 stars.
4 ★My only complaint is this app doesn't support SAF (Storage Access Framework). I can't save any file to my sd card.
1 ★Only rendered a single frame of the video into the "gif" at super low quality
5 ★Simple, feature rich and fast encoder app.
5 ★Lovely. RTSP input not functional though and no answer to support.
5 ★Very handy. The idea to use spare CPU power of my smartphone not to occupy PC popped into my head before but thinking of cross-compiling ffmpeg or using using Linux Deploy for this made me wanna put it on "FOR LATER" list ;D This app makes everything easier. I only wish there were more parameters settable trough GUI but with the templates i rarely have to retype cli. Good Work
5 ★Never imagined I could do all this on a phone. The GUI is work in progress and can improve.
4 ★Good interface for ffmpeg but has some issues with command line editor: 1-Can not insert a vertical bar character "|" necessary for some filters. I tried a different keyboard and copy/paste. 2-Text between double quotes gets manipulated in a weird way: It is appended to command line when executed.
5 ★Great and very comprehensive GUI. Very nice to be able to queue files. Also great to be able to save settings for different transcode types. Very impressed. Thanks so much for the app!!
5 ★Simple UI, easy to use, does what it promises. The best I've tried so far.
5 ★Works like it does on Linux just a little slower than an x86 workstation especially for a 4k file. Considering that this is on a phone, there performance is fantastic! I've used the app to transcode several hundred Meg files down to just a few MB when a good connection wasn't available.
