A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★I love the arrangement of the movies & how the info are displayed for each movie. It's a fantastic library. My only issue is, are we going to ever get gesture control on the app? E.g swipe to seek, swipe for volume & brightness etc.? The app desperately needs it. It's not cool to start tapping on screen buttons for controls. The app needs gesture controls. Hence the 4 star.
5 ★Thank goodness, I've found you! The only app that sees external drives on phones and allows to change audio channels if movies are translated. The only two things that app needs imo is: 1. option to play audio/subtitles from outside files 2. re-check subtitles visibility. Sometimes there aren't any even though they are sctually in the video file. The rest is just perfect. Thank you!
1 ★Could Be Amazing. It has everything I want in a player for my Shield TV, as it has an optimised app for Android TV. However, I found the setting to make it play my whole folder, but it just won't. It will play one episode and stop. Doesn't even have a skip button to skip to the next video file while the end credits are rolling. That makes it a complete miss for me, and when I first tried it out I was really impressed, too bad, back to VLC and it's lackluster features.
5 ★This is an excellent video player. It plays every video format I've tried. It retrieves metadata for your shows. It keeps track of where you are in watched videos so resume is easy. Full screen scrubbing to find what you want in a video. Plays videos from NAS or PC. Works great on Chromecast with Google TV. It's a fantastic way to view your TV shows or movies.
4 ★Great stuff folks! love it as I loved Archos. Two issues I encountered so far: To clarify, I use it mainly with a xGody X92 Android Box to my TV. Issue 1 - The subtitles settings do not remember the color I select. Archos always did and still does. Issue 2 - If I have a folder with sub folders like: Series Such with sub folders Episode 1, Episode 2, etc., in Posters mode it will not detect them at all. If I list or have the files in the root of the main folder (no sub folders) it is OK. Refreshing the indexed folder does not help with these issues. Any suggestions? Thanks and Cheers!
5 ★Absolutely brilliant!! I started using Nova Player as Archos stopped working on my Nvidia Shield TV. It's so easy to use and you have the ability to change the poster art and thumbnails. I have it connected to my Western Digital PR2100 and it has scraped all my movies. The 'use other player' option is good, as I use Kodi in conjunction with it and I'm very pleased with the playback quality. It also has regular updates too, so I highly recommend this app.
3 ★I thought I wanted to give this a try. But my first experience was that it has a rather confusing functions. The UI at least for me is not user friendly. And the instruction is confusing too. Take subtitle for example. It need to be put on the same folder, but which folder? The one that has the videos? Because I did just that and it didn't work. MX Player and VLC has much easier navigation than this.
5 ★One of the best media players available. The way it groups movies and TV shows with their info (including seasons and episodes) is amazing. What is more amazing is that it's all free and totally ad free. One thing that can be improved on is gesture control and secondly continuous play for videos like continuous play for the whole episodes in one season.
4 ★After VLCs last update, the GUI would not let me save my network logon credentials. That meant I could not access the media files on my laptop, to share with my Firestick. I tried Nova Player and it seamlessly connected to my home network and now I can share files with my Firestick TV again :) and my Android devices Nice intuitive and attractive GUI with fast access to subtitles and settings! So far ... very good!
3 ★In Television mode Player doesn't have capability to add movies from a external hard disc folder. Need to add manually to library. And you cannot easily identify which button is selected. If you open a movie folder in External hard then selection/ cursor will be on the top left corner of screen. Not on the file in the movie folder. Sections using this app is really a pain in ass. UI need to improve a lot and Selection identification must be easily identifiable. Player is superb.
5 ★This is such a fantastic app! I recently got an android tv, and I was finding it difficult to access the video library on my external drive. I tried several other apps before this one, and they were annoying to use, and the players were constantly freezing. Nova, on the other hand, is awesome. I love the way the videos are displayed as posters. My video library has never looked more appealing! Nice job!
5 ★This is a great app which offers customization options. It has a great interface though I prefer a dark gray or black background instead of blue. Also, I am doing zooper widget templates and it would be best if the app has shortcuts which i can use in zooper. For instance when i click a specific widget icon it will directly go to the specific playlist or video. It has no shortcuts which I think will be a great addition to this app.
