4 ★Since dark sky left this seems to be the best I can find that uses the api. It looks good and presents information well with a variety of great widgets to boot. If you miss dark sky or just simply want a refreshing weather app then I'd say give it a try
4 ★I think the app is pretty great & the UI is very nice. I only have some problems on using the widget function. Do I really have to update (I will open the app & load it, then I still have to adjust the size of the widget for it to change) it by myself or the widget should update the current weather automatically? I also have the prob with the weather provider that I set. Sometimes when it is already night, it will stay as sunny BG. Although, I can change it but it still time consuming for me 😭
5 ★Been using this weather application since 2019. I've had a very positive experience and would reccomend it to anyone. I've purchased the pro version and the added extras are worth the expense. Recommend highly 10/10
5 ★The weather providers are not the most accurate in regards to precipitation, otherwise the app has an excellent layout with minimal bloat. Quick and easy information to access.
4 ★As it is, very good. I've been looking for a Dark Sky replacement, and the fact that I can use DS reporting is great. Two things I'd like to see eventually included: - Side-swiping to swap between favorite/saved locations. Going through the search menu works, but isn't ideal. - Humidity forecast/information. Additional information always good, but humidity in particular would be appreciated.
5 ★(Disclaimer: This is an early review so I might change my rating later.) I am impressed with it. It's got a clean UI which makes navigating very easy. I'm also glad that Accuweather is an available source. The widgets and customization are amazing and make for a very unique home screen design. The one thing I am iffy about is $12.99 for Pro which seems a bit expensive. I'm happy that it was a one-time payment though! Love this new app so much that I deleted my stock app.
2 ★App is great but i have observed following issues: Name of location not appearing at top even though gps is enabled (only gps icon is visible) Not able to refresh the weather data by pulling down
4 ★Fairly easy to use, once set up it has no issues apart from the terrible battery usage when you have a widget on your home screen. Can be fixed by enabling battery optimization but that should've been enabled by default. Beautiful themes, not forced to pay for basic features and detailed weather reports, would recommend.
5 ★God I hate virtually every weather app out there so this one has been refreshing as it has a really clean UI and so far seems relatively bug free for me. The $12 for pro is pretty steep so I'll need to evaluate the app several months before deciding on that. If it was in the $5 range, would be a no brainer.
4 ★really great app. well designed. widgets are very nice. only really complaint at the moment is the widgets use all capital letters. except for if you use 12 Hour time, then it displays AM and PM like this: A.m P.m and it looks kinds strange. it would also be nice to be able to switch the light mode only widgets to dark mode
5 ★I originally purchased this app just to get the "At A Glance" widget because the weather keeps disappearing on Google's version. After using this app for a while and trying several others I can now say Overdrop is my favorite. I love the minimalist approach and simple design. In addition, the widgets actually work and update without needing to be constantly refreshed. I do wish all themes were available in dark mode - please consider adding this option in the future if you can. Thanks.
3 ★Almost perfect but the one bug I found is really annoying me. On the temperature graph, it is said that the temperature is a flat 0 for the next hours dans it is currently 0°C outside. But on the widget and the notification bar, it is said to be -5°C for no reason. The "feels like" temperature is -12°C and is always completely wrong.
