2 ★I found this game to be repetitive and chauvinistic. It becomes impossible to keep up with people who pay heartily to advance, and ranking determines a great deal of the rewards. The whole consort system, while I get the "historical" aspect of things, is really off-putting for me as a modern woman. The "combat" systems are just a matter of having enough numbers, or making the right guesses. Little to no skill or challenge at all. There are some really nice people who play, so it's not all bad
2 ★Was an amazing game with a lot of play options. It became pay to win and is immensely disappointing. Expect to pay $50-$150 just to unlock basic auto functions needed to compete in the rotating events, or spend hours pressing the same button over and over to just visit heirs. The game had so much potential. And yes, several of us warned the developers about this for months and they only made it worse.
5 ★This game is (as usual) not much like the ads show, but I enjoy it even more than I thought I would! I was pretty lost at first, so I think the intro/tutorial info could be improved, but I stuck it out and have advanced at a good pace, enough that I'm usually in the top 30 players (in my local server) and gaining. I enjoy the variety of rotating games and goals, some more than others, and the people are pretty friendly & willing to help out new players and answer questions. I'm addicted now!
3 ★So what I do like is that it's pretty easy to advance without paying, the game is simple and bordering too simple. I do enjoy it, but I've grown pretty bored with it. The reason I am giving only 3 stars is for generic heirs, and the lack of any real "options" in the game like I'd hoped there would be based off of the ads. If you could customize heirs and consorts like the ads and use actual strategies in the chapters to make it more complex, that'd be great and I'd reconsider my rating. :)
5 ★I love this app! I had no idea I would be hooked by day one. I've been playing it every night before bed and I'm not lying when I say it's addictive. It's great to play when you want to kill time. You always get rewards and there's goals you can always do which really keeps the app active and not boring. Another winning point is they always update the games and show improvements when there's bugs. Overall, this is great app and I highlight recommend!
3 ★Everything was going great and then I hit two big obstacles. There are two quests that are frustrating because of how long they take to charge. One is divination which needs 24 hours to reload on the server another is raising heirs. These really stop the gameplay in its tracks. I want to play a game, I don't want to play a waiting game. Besides that the game is fun, addictive and straightforward. There is no way to play as a woman, so they should stop advertising that aspect.
5 ★This game is truly one of a kind. i downloaded it after a barage of ads (which were slightly misleading) and found a in depth game full of complexity that other apps rarely touch. There is a lot of things going on yet the layout makes it effortless to understand and grow your empire. The newer mini games released are fun and the only downfall is the energy comes back so slow you are forced to make purchases if you want to continue. overall this is a great game I would highly recommend!!!
3 ★Game is still fun, but 100% nothing like a single one of the 20 different adds I've seen for it. Again, still fun, but it's hardly strategy and more or less you clicking different things when time has passed, and alot of it is pre designed with no real variety or ability to affect the plot. Also you're the Sultan, not the girls. so...
3 ★I have had this game for about 3 years. I've played off and on. The saving progress os an awesome feature and I've never had problems with it. I've noticed my sever is completely dead. I wish we had more opportunities to do the romance mini games. The problem I am having currently is the fact that my notifs are all coming in as spanish. I can't fix them no matter what I try, it'd be great if there was a way to fix this.
3 ★I am absolutely obsessed with this game! It's exciting, entertaining, and has a very friendly community 99% of the time! However, I have to leave my rating at 3 stars given the last update with the new changes in appearance to Vizers and the consort Delorah. There are so very many things that could be done to up the stakes with this game. Also, when I tried to open the game up tonight, I was greeted with some sort of bug and/or virus that has happened. I'm not sure if others are having the same problem or not, but given that I can't get on to complete my daily logins, and continue on with the ranking rush, which is a high point in the game, is very disappointing. I would have no problem rating 5 stars, but this last turning point has caused me to have to put in a lower ranking then I was originally planning.
3 ★Developers could listen more to the feedback of long-term players. There are small changes that would be so helpful, like the 100 character text limit with no character count. And bigger issues with dying servers and not being able to migrate your entire account to a different server. And of course it's pay-to-play, I don't understand why people still complain about that. Now there are ridiculously overpriced items like outfits and frames, but otherwise, expect to buy packs to really grow.
4 ★SO! I'm seeing a lot of people saying you *have* to spend money. No one is making you spend money. My friend has spent $0 and she has won rushes and is a decent power level. Now I will say that yes the game is addictive and makes you want to spend money but you absolutely don't have to do anything except not give into temptation. There are plenty of ways to win without paying. You can hoard your items or "mailbox" extra items for events to save them for the next. Overall I like this game.
