Radio María, gracia extraordinaria del corazón materno de María, es don para la Iglesia del Tercer Milenio. Es obra de voluntariado e instrumento para la nueva evangelización, promueve un camino espiritual de conversión para sus oyentes. Se confía a la Divina Providencia, renunciando a la publicidad, sosteniéndose de la colaboración de sus oyentes.El 28 de abril de 1994, Fiesta de San Luis María de Monfort. se inicia el camino en Radio Santa Rosa con una hora diaria a las once de la noche con un programa denominado “Radio María por Radio Santa Rosa”
El 13 de mayo de 1995 en presencia de sacerdotes y laicos se constituyó la Asociación Radio María. Nuestro nacimiento como miembro oficial de la Familia Mundial de Radio María significó el primer eslabón en Latinoamérica.
En julio de 1995 recibimos la bendición apostólica del Papa Juan Pablo II. Y el presidente de Radio María Italia, Emanuelle Ferrario, confirmó el apoyo para Radio María en el Perú. Contamos con 46 repetidoras en Perú.
