StudioLive mixers (Series III and AI-series)
Universal Control (formerly UC Surface) provides touch-control of your complete mix, plus: dynamics, EQ control, effects, monitor mixes, DCA groups, and even AVB networking and routing.
You also get control of deeper features like Scenes, Projects, and granular permission control—including max output level limit!
Most importantly, Universal Control can directly control your StudioLive mixer using a WiFi network without the need to connect a computer.
Quantum-series interfaces
Quantum ES- and HD-series USB audio interface users can create complete monitor mixes, control loopback streams, and even control speaker switching all from Universal Control. For Quantum-series Thunderbolt interface owners, Universal Control offers you remote preamp control (on supported models) and a real-time analyzer.

Studio-series audio interfaces

Control of supported PreSonus audio interfaces and USB microphones requires that the mobile device be connected to the same wireless network as a computer running Universal Control for macOS and Windows, with the audio interface or USB microphone connected to the computer.

1 ★I'm new to PreSonus and after seeing tons of hype about the rack mixers, I recently bought a new StudioLive 16R for an in ear rack. Unfortunately I have been having no luck connecting to the mixer due to an error that reads "remote control not suppored at this screen size". Turns out the app was updated a while ago that made the app useless for Android users due to the same error. Seriously PreSonus? My mixer has become a thousand dollar brick because of this issue. What a lousy first impression
1 ★Won't open, I get a not supported screen size error. Just go to mixing station. They have an app that actually works.
1 ★literally can't do a thing. you should probably mention that this is only for tablets before people download it and leave one star because it didn't do anything.
1 ★Pretty unfortunate that they chose to just fail to launch if the screen resolution isn't what expecting. I can see giving a warning but allowing the user proceed, but this? Come on guys. The workaround is laughable and doesn't even work on a brand new galaxy S24 FE. If your device policy restricts you from installing APKs from the internet, the workaround to the workaround is also a nonstarter. Yes the app is free but the mixer was very much not and this is not a good look for presonus.
2 ★Works, but one of the later updates removed support for small screens out of nowhere... Where i was once able to controll my studiolive mixer from my phone, the app refuses to display anything now. Kinda bummed that functionality is being removed instead of added. When used on a supported tablet the mixer crashes more often than it should when being controlled from te app.

1 ★I can't believe this company has let this go on so long. It only takes seconds to realize everyone is having the same problem since you updated the app. It no longer works on most phones. I used it for years on my 2017 Galaxy and Note but then it stopped working for the same reason, Doesn't support screen size. I have 2 StudioLives, the 32S and 32SC & yet I can't cntrl them anymore due to an app with a simple fix that you obviously don't G.A.S. about. Such a stupid thing to lose customers over!!
1 ★Got to be the most useless app I've ever used, I used to be able to control my presonus. now my screen size isn't supported?? absolutely inconceivable. Why even let people download this if they're on a phone then? why even have this app??
