Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★To start it would be nice to have an option to bring up the map without going threw the process of creating a new saved area. Another thing is my area only picks up 1 buoy. There should be 3-4 in the area that I fish. Would it be possible to click on any part of the map and get an average of the condition between the buoys in the surrounding area? The developer said that he is working on a fix. If that happens I will change my rating and update this review.
5 ★This app still has some rough edges, but the author was quick to respond to my questions. For the most part, all the pieces are in place for greatness and the author indicates they're working on an update. Looking forward to it.
1 ★Can't see information for my area. No buoys in all of Africa it would seem. Much less Kommetjie and Cape of Good Hope region.
5 ★This app is great and has the potential to become even better. It's being actively developed and there seems to be good momentum behind it. Highly recommend!
3 ★There are no bouys for any of WA. This would be a great app but the forced bouys requirements makes it difficult. Was hoping there would be bouy markers for Denmark/Albany & Margaret River plus Perth metro
3 ★no buoy in sydney for swell data
5 ★This is an excellent idea - something that I've found really useful on surf and dive trips. Good coverage around the UK and I really like the tracking of past data and the visualizations of that when you flip the phone round. Really smart. My only gripe would be for more worldwide buoy coverage, especially South East Asia, but overall this is a genuinely great app.
5 ★Flexible, easy to use app Really handy when torn between two or three locations for a day's surfing or sailing. Synchronisation is fast even when your phone's data connection is poor. The wizard makes it easy to set up your spots and adjust them later if needs be. Have only tried in the UK but buoy coverage seems to be pretty good too.
5 ★An absolutely indispensable app for any budding surfing enthusiast. Great no-nonsense user interface which looks great on my S11 as well as a wizard setup making it easy to select my preferred locations. Plus kudos to the Dev for not wanting to access my inner-thigh measurments with this apps permissions - others please take note! Keep up the good work.
1 ★Can't believe I paid good money for this. No graphs. Just current conditions and tide times. Better off just using a weather or wind and swell website.
5 ★Great for checking tide times, conditions and swell. Useful for local knowledge or traveller into surf spots around the world.
5 ★Won't update Currently less than impressed. My bad turns, out the issue was with Verizon. Still have questions, support is responsive.
