1 ★I have played almost every Choice of Game and Hosted Game and this is the one I am least satisfied with. As someone else said the stat changes on a lot of the choices make no sense and when I got to the ending on my playthrough it didn't give me a choice, I had ONE option to choose from. Thats not much of a damn choice, I was forced to chose that option because there was LITERALLY no other choice and it gave me a really crappy ending. If I could give no stars, I would.
2 ★I've played many of the COG/Hosted Games and usually buy them immediately after playing the demo. This one, however, just didn't interest me enough for me to purchase. The story is pretty boring, just driving and making arbitrary decisions about which road you should take. The companions are all pretty dull and there didn't seem to be much thought put into your interactions with them. Maybe I'll come back and buy this later, to give it a fair shot, but so far I'm really not interested
2 ★The game lumps piles of stat changes into single unclear decisions, especially in the character development. Having to roll the dice on what build my character is by choosing a nickname like "the Fox" or "Scarface". Like many choice games it gets political though not as bad as most of the official games. Story quality is decent but spending my time on decisions for the purpose of trying to figure out how the author is trying to butcher your stats and not on the weight of a decision is a real headache.
5 ★I really enjoyed this game. The post apocalyptic setting was engaging and the artwork was stunning and added to the experience. Sometimes these kinds of choose your own stories give you nothing but fake options, but these felt more meaningful. I really liked being able to follow my stats and seeing my decisions reflected in them. If you're a fan of Mad Max or Fallout type themes or choose your own stories, this is a great one to get.
4 ★The story, while short, was overall enjoyable. It was a vastly different experience than most other stories published by either hosted or choice games. That said it did have some real drawbacks. The climax was very abrupt. I literally stared at my screen for a good ten seconds wondering if was really the ending. Also there was a point where I was given a choice with only one option. Not because I didn't meet the requirements for other options, but because there were no other options to press. That was disappointing. However I will be playing through again to see the different outcomes and recommend to anyone on the fence to give this game a chance
2 ★This game has good world building and an interesting premise but fell flat for me. The characters are underdeveloped including your own (Judy seems to be the best companion) and there's some scripted in stuff that was frustrating and unavoidable. It's great that there's so many endings however it feels like the author focused more on the endings than making the choices leading up to that point interesting. Some stats and choices were unclear and the endings felt pretty abrupt. Too linear & short
3 ★Played the demo and it was alright I might come back before the sale ends and buy it out of curiosity but I'm not that enthralled with it to instantly buy it. If you like mad max and things like it then this is your book/story.
