5 ★I havent even played this yet and dont need to. Im giving this 5 stars for the idea. Someone said 'You know whats a good game that should be an app? Darkstone.' I already started this game on an emulator I bought. Ill try this one later.
1 ★This game was better on ps1. There is a serious delay when attempting to use health potions when your getting mobbed by multiple enemies always resulting in death. Fix this and I might bump the rating to 2 stars.
2 ★Really great base for a game. Love the build your character, open world and items but so many little bugs that just kinda ruin the game. I get you're trying to make a profit but geez if you could rub in the purchase a little less and not penalize the heck out of the player witb waiting it's it'd be a wonderful game. I don't mind the ads or the purchase but add it to the frequent playing bugs (not being able to move, camera glitching out, etc) and I'm leaning towards moving on to a different app
5 ★I can't feed my character!! Or give him antidotes or learn new spells wtf! The dragging items to the character seems to be glitching out, it usually doesn't do anything and then randomly it will let me drag items to him, dying of hunger and poison over hete wtf guys!! Please fix this
3 ★Would be happy to give 5 stars when the game is fixed. Every game crashes on level 11 after beating miniboss, nosforatu or whoever you get for your game, beat the miniboss game crashes. You can continue without beating him if you can get away from him but that isnt fun.
3 ★Darkstone was one of the many pc-games, I never finished. Mainly, because Diablo2 was still better. I doubt, I will use ingame-purchase options, but I would have bought the game. I also hope, there are going to be more pc games converted to mobile devices in the future.
4 ★Worth 5 stars when local network multi player is enabled just like the olden days. So nice to see this come back to life. Zooming and rotating is a little dodgy as it interprets the millisecond first finger to touch as a move. But this is not a deal breaker :-)
3 ★I played it for a few hours but I feel the PS1 version playing through an emulator is much more enjoyable, but I am old school. I mainly dislike the micro transations and penalty for death being bypassable with microtransations. The movement and combat is irregular too.
5 ★Used to play this when it was new on the PC. Very good implementation of a hack and slash. I don't remember the manga taking so long to return in the original. A great way to waste time; it is a very customizable game for its time.
3 ★The game was much better on a console. The graphics are out dated but alright. The controls need to be tuned more for mobile use and I hated how they kept saying they're always hungry
4 ★Need to fix thebugs when u kill side bosses... everytime it says unfortunately darkston has stopped... frustrating and large inconvenience have to start new game or skip bosses and thats not cool.... also need to make it where u cant sell items you need for the quest... ahhh I have to reset once again... although gaining experience is good but still not cool again
3 ★They advertise coins and rez scrolls when you make a purchase. Ok cool, except that the rez scrolls don't work. At all. If both your characters die you can use a rez scroll to revive one character because the game gives a pop-up, but you can't rez the other. Really love the game, just disappointed that this is broken
