2 ★Fun game except when aiming for the winning putt. The graphic appears accurate only to find that it's a miss, and that I've been misled into believing my aim is accurate. There's no way to determine accuracy during an attempted putt so you lose 98% of the time. Totally unfair, I sense a cheat!! I'm going to try being a little more tolerant in hopes the imperfections will be corrected soon because it is a fun game however unfair it is.
5 ★I've loved playing this game. Great graphics and good play. But I've had to re-start my account over twice, haven't been able to get tech support for problems. And now they want me to start over again after I finally got my A gear redrafted again.. it is a fun, relaxing game, you just cant trust spending any money on it.. very sad
2 ★Gameplay is very good, but don't expect to get anywhere or play against real people. Betting challenge is about 80% against in-game bots and closer to 100% once you can drive about 300 yds. At first I though I could live with it, but when your only way to make money is through betting challenges and you're playing 95% against in game bots and losing to half of them, it gets super frustrating. After I couldn't afford to repair my clubs anymore, I uninstalled the game.
3 ★very inconsistent with its results. I played a betting round which myself and the other player had a draw, so it goes to a one shot closest to pin playoff. We both went and my ball landed and remained on the green while other player went in the water. They awarded the other player with the win. No big deal as it's just a video game, but even if I had won, the game won't let me spend my money on better clubs. Not worth wasting any more time. I'll keep searching.
4 ★Overall the game is good. But it has some daft features that don't correspond with the real game. Drawn betting matches are decided by hitting one shot to get 'nearest the pin'. That implies the shot at least has to be on the putting surface. No, it can be in rough, bunkers, in a pond, or even out of bounds, just as long as it's closer it still wins. That's stupid. But like I said, other than silly stuff, clearly designed by non golfers, the game is enjoyable.
3 ★This could be a great game, but it is very difficult, as you progress you go against higher level players. I can't win, or I just suck, lol. Uninstalling soon, after I use all my resources!.. Bump : I'm done, I can't figure out how to be accurate, still can't win a match. Ran out of money & tickets... Time to uninstall!
5 ★Outstanding game! The best golf game, since EA, TW PGA Tour. That's comparing mobile to console. Shot Online Golf is one to download. I haven't missed a day of play since I installed a week ago. There is a sort of RPG clubs upgrading system that will keep you busy for hours. The results are surprising. Great game! Good job Webzen Inc.! No, great job Webzen Inc.! Keep the great games coming! 2 ★Update: this game has been getting hung up on 3 hole match play lately. After the first hole is complete it hangs while trying to load the opponent on the next hole. Didn't do this before the last update. The game is pretty fun. Couple of things would make it better. 1)sometimes the hole on the green blends in too much to be seen very well on volcano course. 2) add a 2 minute timeout for sore losers that leave a betting challenge early when they know they can't win. Sucks having to wait over a minute because someone else is a poor sport.
5 ★I'm very impressed and I'm enjoying it ive tried all the other golf games, and they just got annoying with ads, this game has a very good single player campaign, the only simple tweak they need to add is being able to lock in your power, after you select it, because it's way too sensitive, and easy when you take off your finger, sometimes it knocks the power back down, completely messing up the shot you planned, if you could just press lock in then this would never happen,
1 ★Only available "Shot online" mode is through the betting challenge mode, I'd say about 95% of the time you will get paired up with opponents who have previously paid for better clubs, consumables, etc. Your equipment gets heavy durability hits per usage, plus the limit is usually pretty low, good gear requires a gigantic level of patience to be able to survive the online competition if you're not willing to pay. Also read that once you're lvl50 you will need to pay vs higher(lvl 80+) opponents.
1 ★This game could be great. It could be the best golf app in the store and I would give it 5 stars, but nope. It's completely unfair that you have to play against someone with quadruple the playability as you have. The betting challenge ranking shouldn't matter if they have that much more power. The match making needs to be balanced and the game would be almost perfect.
3 ★Game was great to start, played for few weeks to get to certain level. But connection issues really let game down. Once you reach a level mid 40s certain tasks in the academy become too difficult to complete unless your a higher level because clubs are not up to shots. Gameplay also misses a decent level of actual golf games, playing 9 holes with other player, or group. As a fan of the pc download version of shot online I wanted to score higher and enjoyed It to begin, but quickly got bored.
