„Spiel für dein Land“ ist ein Länderwettstreit zwischen Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz. Jedes Land wird von 3 Prominenten repräsentiert, die als Team gegen die Konkurrenten antreten. Die Prominenten haben unter anderem die Aufgabe, kuriose und unterhaltsame Quizfragen zu beantworten. Die Zuschauer können die Prominenten dabei aktiv per App oder Website unterstützen und so zum Sieg beitragen.Sowohl die von den Prominenten-Teams als auch die von ihren App/Website-Spielern erzielten Punkte fließen in die Wertung ein.
Die erste Ausgabe der 3. Staffel der Fernseh-Show wird am 30. September 2017 um 20.15 Uhr live im Ersten, ORF eins und SRF 1 ausgestrahlt. Die folgende am 18. November 2017.
