The object of the game is to make your pieces constitute a majority of the pieces on the board at the end of the game, by converting as many of your opponent's pieces as possible. The gameplay is straightforward yet highly engaging. Players move, jump, and convert their opponents' pieces to cover as many spaces of the board with their color as possible. When it's your turn to move, select the piece you want to move by simply clicking on it. Then, touch an empty space on the board to move to. The rules allow for moving one space in any direction or jumping two spaces in any direction as long as the destination is empty. The game ends when there are no empty spaces, or when one player cannot move. The player with the majority of pieces on the board wins. The Hexxagon is a turn based strategy board game that involves two people on the hexagonal grid. Loosely based on the game hexxagon from the early 90-s as well as attax, reversi also known as othello, this board game greatly improves the experience with a new campaign mode and a very strong AI.
A puzzle strategy tbs game that challenges you to dominate over the imaginary battlefield that is presented by the hexagon field. The tactics for each level are completely different, so you have to master the game from a beginner level to become an amateur and further improve to expert, choosing a different strategy for each level.
The more you play, the more strategy and tactics you learn, the more engaging and challenging the gameplay is. You can move your piece to a cell near it and thus a new piece is born. Then you can attempt to jump over one cell, leaving exactly one empty place. When you put your piece next to your opponent's pieces, it will transform them into your own and you can use them to make your next move. To win, just have more crystals than your opponent by the end of the game. It is possible to play against the computer with a very competitive AI or against your mate.

4 ★The memory of the old DOS game came to me in a vision this morning. Glad this was here to satisfy; asking for NO SPECIAL PERMISSIONS! That is #winning. I agree with posters that state auto-end is logically flawed and that I can't pay for a no-ad. experience.
5 ★I love this game! Had an old DOS version on my old 286, and I'm thrilled to see it is back, plus you've added so many new board configurations that it is more fun than ever! One thing I'd like to know, how do I get rid of the ads? I can't find a way to pay you....
4 ★The feature where the pieces all fill in automagically at the end fails sometimes. It looks like the problem is that the filling mechanism relies on actual legal moves, and sometimes the filling process requires a jump. The algorithm isn't picky about which piece jumps, and it jumps a piece that opens a move for the opponent. Then it freezes for some reason.
3 ★Great presentation of a classic with some new boards and other touches. But seriously, turning off the music without killing the sound effects was a standard feature of games twenty years ago!
2 ★Great potential, but end game detection is buggy and needs work. Often if last hole is filled by 2-hex move (rather than 1-hex copy) which should open up a new hole at move origin, hole instead stays filled (as if game allows illegal 2-hex copy) and game prematurely ends. Also, if say, blue passes red in points on last move, final screen may correctly declare "blue wins" but have erroneous score of blue 28, red 30. Fix these and it's a 4 star game (ads are still overly intrusive, as most free games today).
