Bob has to win the fight at any cost as he is an heir of the former king; it is a do-or-die situation for him. Now This means they get to fight with hands only but there is a chance they get some old tools like wooden logs or hammers, so for purpose of being fair bob has to fight every guy with the right armor, the armor they already have otherwise it would be stated unfair to the contestant.
