Thank you for your patience and massive apologies for not resolving the issue some users had with a black box showing in some screens.
Unfortunately life happened and we let this issue slip away and for that we're really sorry.
Happy to report that this issue is now fixed and we're also proud to announce the next big update - the strumming pattern practice tool.

Use this to practice every strumming pattern you'll ever need!

How to install The Ukulele App APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download The Ukulele App APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

1 ★The black box over the fretboard so you can't see the finger placement is a deal breaker. The fact that others have mentioned it in their reviews and the devs haven't responded is telling. Guess I'll be deleting this one.

1 ★Rubbish. It's basically a fancy skin for his YouTube channel, but with more ads, broken volume control functionality, and touch registration isn't working as it should. Videos tutorials for songs not particularly useful. Uninstalled for wasting my time.

1 ★This is ridiculous. None off the beginner songs want to play.

2 ★The teacher is great at teaching and is a likable guy, but the hitboxes (?) on all the buttons are impossible to hit, and from what i can tell, you cannot adjust your volume while in the app.

5 ★I don't usually rate apps, but can't help but to recommend this one! Just on a whim, I checked for left-handed mode and was delighted to see it!!!!

4 ★Loved it until I got this weird black box that covers up the fretboard, which is annoying especially since I got the pro version before it started happening.

5 ★Back to using this app since the dev fixed the fretboard issue. Like the addition of strumming patterns. Very useful for learning songs, scales, chords, and strumming patterns on the uke.

2 ★Video lessons mention downloading and printing song sheets that aren't available in the app. Couldn't adjust volume. Couldn't go full screen landscape. Some video links are broken.

5 ★This is literally the best app for self-driven uke players. Every time I use it, I learn something new, some new feature I didn't see before. Really well done!

1 ★Love the man who teaches these lessons but the app is 100% worthless. Glitches, crashes, freezes, won't load, have to tap 4 or more times to get buttons to work. Just horrible.
