4 ★Lots of fun finding words. I think that it would be better if there was a bonus for finding all the words with in a word. Also would like more base words
1 ★I just installed this game. Immediately met with full screen covering ads, followed by the "Rate us" popup. Then once I was able to get into the actual game, does not accept or acknowledge most words & will not allow the word displayed to be entered as a word, it will only allow you to select specific letters inside of the Word displayed. Very limited in words it will allow, & will not accept MOST words. It will tell you "That is not a word". One of the Worst word games. Words are not allowed.
4 ★I discovered this app while looking for an alternative to Wordscapes, which I had been playing for months. Words in Word is LIGHTYEARS better, here's why: - WAY less ads that are easier to skip. - A better dictionary; recognizes real words, except for proper nouns. Lets you use 2-letter words. - Less of a battery suck - Doesn't harass you to use micro-transactions. If I could improve anything, I wish it had portrait mode, and night mode. Other than that, great game, great app!
3 ★Already Addicted BUT... there could be & SHOULD be ONE button to push to clear the letters off the board instead of having to back them out one by one & not only that but in reverse order. That's just nuts. There are a LOT of words the game won't recognize that are legit words. That needs to be fixed ASAP. Why doesn't someone fix these errors? I'm not the only person to complain about these 2 things! Are we being ignored? No one cares? Also when we sort by A-Z order it needs to stay that way.
5 ★I really enjoy Words in Word. It really puts my brain to work. I'm in my 30's & always enjoyed & been great at word puzzles. Especially back in my school days. I know...with me only being in my 30's, my school days don't seem that far behind me. However, I realize that I've been slacking. My brain isn't as sharp. It's like working out your body. When you don't exercise/keep active, your body isn't as tone/fit. I haven't been working out my brain, & I can definitely tell a difference!
4 ★i enjoy it , although it took a very long time tio start becoming difficult. the only down side is theres not enough explanation. I don't understand why top right corner displays letters in word bank. Nor is there enough explanation of why it says if you run out of words on current level, return to previous levels. that wont change the fact that you can't find anymore words. if you're stuck then you're stuck. I'll give 5 stars if the rules are better explained.
4 ★I just finished it and it over all was a good game. I like the fact there are only 204 levels because when there are too many levels I tend to get overwhelmed. The game play is not too challenging but it is not too easy either. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because there were too many ads and some ads covered the whole screen during gameplay. If you like word games and are just wanting a good time killer then this game is worth a try.
5 ★Enjoyable and engaging game! It's a really good word game. Simple and well done. One of the better word games because there's no silly stuff or timers and the vocab isn't too basic or esoteric. You can spend a long time playing it. Satisfying, not stupid, and it's not tricky with words to manipulate you to spend money or watch ads. There are ads but so far they haven't annoyed me. I use apps with ads if there's option to pay for ad-free. I support app devs. Thanks for a fun adult game!
2 ★Fun but intrusive ads wreck it. I understand ads are needed to make money, but these are CONSTANT. Ads should be between each game or when asking for hints only. But--accidentally hit the tasks button? Ad. Put your phone down and pick it back up? Ad. Press the x button to try to escape it? Still takes you to the play store. Horribly intrusive and gives you stress instead of taking it away. I would have bought the game, now I refuse because of this.
1 ★I like this app alot but the new ads with the loud sounds are obnoxious and constantly interrupt and pause my audible. I'll have to find a new game if I cant listen to my books while playing it. if you take away the loud sound ads I would happily give 5 stars. i dont mind ads but please, the loud music ads dont make your game relaxing.
5 ★Really fun....i love how if you turn the game off cause your busy it lets you reopen and all your words you already found are still there instead of making me start back over. I also like how you can see the definitions of each word by tapping on it. I also like that it gives us hints as well. The tournaments i havent quite figured out yet!!!
3 ★When first installed I Loved this game, still do but having trouble with it now that I am on level 197. Sometimes I can't pull up the screen. Sometimes it won't accept words that it had accepted on previous levels. Very disappointed because it really is a good game for wordsmiths. Dislike being cynical but this started when I began "purchasing" hints. Developers can you help us out?
