Doctor Compás is a unique flamenco metronome that never plays the same sample twice in a row, and simulates improvised palmas and cajón with incredible precision and musicality for all flamenco palos at any tempo you choose. Brought to you by Maissam Barkeshli and Jason McGuire "El Rubio", Doctor Compás is an easy to use practice tool to improve your flamenco rhythmic skills. Whether you are a guitarist, dancer or singer, student or professional, Doctor Compás can improve your rhythmic accuracy and sense of soniqueté. Install on your android device, plug into a sound system or earphones, hit the start button and play, sing or dance along.

The free version provided here includes unlimited access to Tangos, and other palos play for 30 seconds. To purchase the full version of Doctor Compás, first download the free version and then upgrade to the full version from within the application.

1 ★Great product but poor support. A few months ago, a bug on the iOS app prevented from purchasing the iOS version so I had to buy the Android one. Today, I have no longer any Android device so I had to buy the iOS version, the purchase worked this time. I submitted a form to request a refund of the Android app but the customer support never got back to me.

5 ★Very Nice. This works great on Galaxy Note 4 and I didn't encounter any lag during 10-15 minutes of trying different palos. The improvised approach the app takes for creating different "non-repetitive" compás sections felt very organic as soon as I got into playing along. User note: you have to stop playback to choose a different palo. That took me a little longer to figure out than I'd like to admit - but otherwise a very intuitive experience for me. I think I'll spend a lot of time with this app!

2 ★Hi, only writing in hope that I will get my question answered. The full version only works when I am online making it useless when I am in the studio. The free version works. I submitted 2 forms on the website. Sent a message through Facebook and an email . No answer!!

3 ★Free version is very basic with only Tangos, although I am using it for Tientos too and it sounds fine. The improvise feature works nicely and the sounds are good, but the app is crazy expensive compared to my current mainstay app, Ole compas.

3 ★Lo que me gusta de la aplicación es el sonido del acompañamiento y la opción de improvisación. Lo que me parece que hay que mejorar: - La interfaz: porque tengo que cambiar de pantalla para cambiar el palo, no tiene sentido; la velocidad debería poder ser cambiada sin parar la pista; debería tener un botón de pausa cuando la pantalla está bloqueada, como los reproductores de música. Por otra parte, la seguiriya lenta a veces no suena o deja de sonar, por favor ayudarme con esto. Por último, porque pusieron el tanguillo a 6??? Para los académicos es 3/4 y 2/4, pero para los flamencos siempre ha sido 4/4 y creo que la app fue diseñada para flamencos. Espero puedan entender el mensaje y que no haya malos entendidos por mis comentarios, los hago en pro de mejorar. Un saludo flamenco!
