Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Totally useless. You select a piece that you want to hear, and it plays something else. I can go elsewhere if I want random selections.
4 ★Everything about this app is almost perfect. I am no professional musician but I'm a big fan of the classics. I love it even though it falls short in its catalogues. I wish there's a share button and a night mode UI. Also, downloading using data is really a mess even though my connection is very fast and the app would crash afterwards Hope you can fix that. Thanks.
5 ★I like it. I'm now a monthly subscriber and I think it's worth it (please keep the updates coming, thank you!). I hope people could understand that apps don't just magically appear. There are people behind every app and just like every job, they work for it. So if you are complaining about the fee, then I kindly ask you to just look for free app like youtube or spotify :)
5 ★I'm ready to purchase, BUT, the only thing that bothers me is that the length of each song/movement is not listed until you begin play. I need to know the length of things at the outset, so could that be adjusted? So, instead of just "Grave" you would see "Grave - 5:31" (5 minutes 31 seconds) UPDATE: IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO AN EMAIL! I SENT! They were great! Dear Robert, Thanks for getting in touch – it's great to hear your feedback! Your input helps us to constantly improve what IDAGIO has to offer. This is certainly something we will look into when deciding new improvements to our user interface. I've passed along your suggestion to our Features Team and marked your interest in this feature - once we have news about it, we are happy to get back to you. Best regards, Samuel Fernández
4 ★A lot has been said about how great this app is, and it is all true. The amount of work that has been done on the organising the catalogue is immense and terrific. It's a pity that we still don't have Naïve label though. Why four stars then? Because the Android version doesn't have filtering feature in search (which iOS version has). It really is the most important feature of the service – and it's not here! It would be great if developers made implementing filtering their first priority.
3 ★While there's a lot to love about it, Idagio still feels like a work in progress. I'd like to see some features added or fixed. These have been mentioned by other reviewers, and they're critical to my music listening experience. 1) Gapless playback. This is an absolute must for me - choppy slience between connected tracks can be quite annoying! If Spotify can do gapless, Idagio surely can. 2) Reordering playlists. This should be a no-brainer - every desktop or mobile music player I've used over the years has allowed reordering of tracks. 3) Syncing playlists between desktop app and mobile devices. This may be related to the inability to create a custom playlist in the Android app. I listen to music both on my work computer and my Android phone, so this is important to me. 4) Viewing album artwork when in playlist mode. A minor issue compared to the others, but I enjoy the ability to see the artwork for the track that's playing. I'm thrilled there's finally a streaming service that caters to classical lovers, but I can't justify a paid subscription yet. If some of these issues are fixed, then I have little doubt I'd become an willing and enthusiastic subscriber!
4 ★This gives me most of the music that I want. The search engine works well for me so far (a few weeks of use). I find that the connection drops out frequently unless I download the disc - could be better. When I stop listening, e.g., the bus gets to the office, and I pause the music for a few hours, Idagio loses its place in the music entirely, whereas Spotify allowed me to resume where I left off - this may be my phone rather than the app, but how would I know. I will keep listening!
3 ★I thank you for allowing a brief period to explore Idagio and what it has to offer. The user interface is really nice, the app overall is easy to use and the sound quality is excellent. However, Idagio falls short on the number of albums in the library. For instance, I am a connoisseur of the music of Vaughan William's and have discovered a large number of CD's and pieces missing that are included in Spotify. Also, the number of albums and music of the Renaissance is about 1/6 that of your competitor. As for artists, those whose music is recorded on the Hyperion, Naxos or Marco Polo labels are few., and recordings on the old Phillips and London labels are also limited. I approximate that Idagio's library is about at or below 1/2 of Spotify's. That is why, for now, I gave you app 3 stars.
4 ★Thanks for the reply. However, I don't mean a stand alone sleep timer. I need a timer that stops playing music after a pre-determined amount of time (like spotify). So that I can sleep and -for example- music stops playing after an hour. Original: 5 Stars for a sleep timer. Please one that can be set to any value (hours, minutes). Not just a set of options (8 min, 15 min, 3 hours) to choose from. It will be awesome. I got a premium+ subscription and it's very neat. Waiting for more features!
4 ★It's a very good service with a quality catalog - not exhaustive by any means but still very good and improving. The option to listen in less compressed mode (effectively CD quality) is good but you have to subscribe to the premium service; to me it is worth it. I would recommend this as a viable option if you listen to a lot of classical music; personally I think this is a better choice than the usual suspects. Inviting artists to offer the personal selections, etc are nice touches too. I use this at home (30-ish MB/s download speed) streaming through a good audio system, at work via my laptop and in my car via my phone (over 4G). Rarely have a playback problem. The major thing they still need to sort (and I would not let this put you off subscribing for now) is the ability to organize your music collections - I have been assured this is coming. For Idagio: I like your service and want you guys to succeed but you've got to fix this. I know its easier said than done, but if you don't figure it out someone else will. I'll give you that extra star if you sort it!
4 ★Good app but still room for improvement. I have the Premium + lossless platform as audio quality is very important to me, plus, I don't sign up with any "free" streaming services being I feel strongly that the artists need to be paid a reasonable fee for their music. As for Idagio, there are some holes in their catalogue. I hope they can get all the Naxos distributed music in their library soon so I can listen to all the great Supraphon albums out there.
5 ★As a long-time streaming user and an even longer-time classical music aficionado, IDAGIO was a most wonderful finding. Although services such as Spotify and its kin are not bad, they definitely weren't built for the idiosyncrasies of classical music. That's where IDAGIO shines. My favorite feature of all is that IDAGIO allows you to look for a piece and then compare different recordings of it. Also worth mentioning is the extensive categorisation of their collection: its divided by composer, conductor, orchestra, soloist, genre, period, and instrument. I also enjoy the playlists assembled by professional musicians and writers, which come with commentary and first-hand impressions. Last but not least, the impact of the lossless audio quality in the overall experience cannot be understated. As an audiophile, I simply cannot stand mediocre audio quality, so the FLAC option is just earcandy of the highest degree.
