Description
ENJOY THE MATH PUZZLES !!!Glimpses of Puzzles consists of following five puzzle games :
1. Switch Puzzle :
There is a 5 by 5 board and each cell is a faulty switch.
If you click on a switch its state and states of the adjacent 4 switches (up, down, left, right) will toggle.
Initially all the switches are in off state.
Your task is to keep only one switch in on state.
2. Knight's Tour :
There is a mutilated chessboard whose 6 cells are disabled.
Disabled six cells are marked by red color.
Task is to cover all the remaining 58 cells (except red colored 6 cells) using Knight's move.
3. Board Puzzle :
There is a 8 by 8 board, initially all the cells of which are assigned +1.
If you click on a cell its state will be changed i.e +1 to -1 or -1 to +1.
Task is to achieve the board configuration for which the products of all the numbers in each row is +1 and the products of all the numbers in each column is -1.
Try to achieve the desired configuration in as many possible ways as you can.
(Try not to use trivial ways)
This game can be solved in approximately 10^15 ways.
4. Door Puzzle :
There is a 10 by 10 board, each cell of which is numbered 1 to 100.
Initially all the doors are closed.
Start clicking from cell number 1.
The door to be clicked next is denoted by blue colored X.
If you click on cell 1 all the cells which are multiple of 1 will change its state i.e.
closed door will be opened and opened door will be closed.
Then you have to click on 2. Now all the cells which are multiple of 2 will change its state and so on.
Similarly click on the other cells from 3 to 100.
Then check which doors are in the opened state after clicking on door number 100.
5. Interchange Puzzle :
This is a simple puzzle.
The letters A, B, C, D, E, F, G are displayed on the board.
You have to reverse the display order of the letters.
You can only interchange adjacent two letters at a time.
If you click on G first then click on F, G and F will interchange their places.
A letter is to be first selected by clicking on it.
If you click on a letter, then again click on the same letter, selection of that letter is disabled.
Try to achieve the target configuration in minimum number of steps.
