5 ★Everything is good except for the working logic of how the profile shows. I've set the searching distance within 20 miles, but few profiles that are 50 miles away still shows ups sometimes. I've asked for help from customer service. They said, if the user out of my search range liked you, the user will still show up. If the developer could improve it, the app will be perfect!
4 ★It's a great app but the VIP prices are expensive. Most people who are on dating apps, ususally have more than one app and probably subscribe to multiple dating apps. Paying $30 a month for one app is extreme. I honestly think more people would buy vip if the prices were $10-15. And the more people that buy it, the more money you'd make instead of high prices and less consumers
2 ★Typical swipe left or right app and hope you match up. Not very resourceful nor many users that are keeping up with their profiles. Installed and used for one month and had no results so I deactivated my account. Nice profile layout but like all the other "free" apps out there, be prepared to pay for "upgrades" ..... this app isn't worth it.
3 ★Not sure what to think, it's been a few days ran out of people pretty quick im not looking to look more than 50 miles away bit to mention 20 miles your in Canada. Haven't had any matches yet while Pof is blowing up using the trial vip service now seems to not make any difference. It's a great idea and I hope it takes off, if it does I'll update my review to reflect.
5 ★It has been a fun, though (only ever so slightly) limited app unless you are a paid member. Nonetheless, it is very usable even for free! I love the layout and this app is beneficial far beyond Tinder's BS. However, I do wish there was an option to swipe for males and females separately when registered as a bisexual or otherwise, not because I prefer one over the other, but because sometimes I want to better limit my search.
5 ★I saw some of users complained about the subscription. I can not imagine that there are such people who always ask others to do things for them for free. They have a team to support and they already offer many free members, especially chatting with matches for FREE. How can they survive if there is no income and what is the point for them to build such a good app for us?
5 ★Wild deserves a 5 star for sure. I have joined this app for over 3 days, and I used its free version, which is good, you don't have to upgrade to VIP because the basic version is good enough. I noticed that the app offers me a free trial as well, I subscribed to it yesterday and I saw some premium features coming in like changing my location. I really like that feature cuz I want to make friends with people far away as well.
1 ★I was told that 5 min after i had downloaded it that i had to sign up for the free trial which ended in three days and then it was $38.99 a month.
1 ★It's free to sign up and look but that is all. Everything else is behind a paywall. It's free to talk to your matches but you have to wait until they match so it's impossible to make the first move. Be warned, it's a money grab. Unless you're willing to wait for a respose, you're gonna be spending money. Edit: this is my second time posting a review. The fist on was deleted i guess
1 ★The emphasis on making loads of money instead if producing a high quality service is obvious with this app. You can't charge 27£ a month for a service where you didn't have a user base and most of the potential matches are 100 miles away. I'm not sure what the matching algorithm is, but looks like tinder based which is a potential failure to begin with. Build yourself a user base, prove that your app actually works and then start as asking for money. Not vice versa
5 ★I didn't get matched... Which actually seems honest. I didn't get any scam messages, and it does give you the opportunity to try the service free not just at first but for a week at a time every 44 days of consecutive logins... You can also chat with matches if you get any, or just heart new in the area. Not expensive
4 ★EDITED IN RESPONSE TO DEV COMMENT: I appreciate the response; I should have been more clear with what I was referring to with my initial review.. Yes, you *can* set the distance filter but the results do not correspond with whatever you set for. I put "less than 40 miles" or something and yet literally ALL of the profiles and matches I get shown are anywhere from 80 or 90 to even several hundreds of miles. So my issue is that the distance filter seems to do little to nothing in practice.
