3 ★I've only played Missile Command. I will probably pay the $10 for all the games. I'm just going to hold off a little longer. My reservation on retro arcade translations is that game specific controls such as a trackball, dual joysticks, a spinning knob excetera excetera do not translate well to touch screens. It looks like they made a decent effort with Missile Command emulating the trackball on the screen and I'm very curious about millipede. But even on my 10-inch tablet, my fingers went off the emulated ball and I couldn't move as fast as I could if I had a real track ball. This is a detraction and makes the games harder to play on a touch screen then the real games. This is why I hesitate to purchase. I'm still pondering it. It will bring back good memories and Space War is one of my favorite games of all time.
4 ★The memories come flooding back. My only niggle.... the Activision Anthology recognises my bluetooth gamepad - unless I'm missing something this doesn't support it at all. Controls are set up well for a touchscreen, but still can't compete with using a physical pad.
5 ★Heard Ataribox console is on coming. Great library of classic games but I worry will rely too much on them. Atari should remake to point many if not all of the games even if just to advance 16 bit or 32 bit standards. I don't get why it's so impossible. Please don't set out to try to compete with Nintendo, at least not at the outset. This is the only way I see Atari succeeding.
3 ★A quick trip back down memory lane. I'd invest in the game pack IF, we could ditch garbage games like "Basic Math" and add in Pitfall 1&2, Pole Position, Rampage, Burger Time, Keystone Capers, and other more fulfilling games. I'm not paying 99 cents to add and subtract.
3 ★I was so excited that this game was free. However you have to pay for the games, and I would only play a few. It's not 20 dollars which is nice, but maybe they should all be free and then if you buy it there could be no ads. Brings back memories:) or you get to play each game 3 times and after you'll need to pay. Would be fair I think. Or by playing 5 unlocked games you get points to unlock other games?? I love the older games though. 💙
1 ★I paid the $9.99 two years ago for all games, only to find the app crashed after an android update. Just tried again after a year and was happy to find it working, only to be required to pay again. No thanks.
5 ★I was going through my apps in Google play and found this from several years ago. I had purchased the whole package. Installed, restored my purchases using my Google receipt number and voila! Works great! Still love old school Atari!
1 ★Google pixel user. Only one free game no galega. Expected more. I can just download an emulator and load up ROMs. I have owned almost all of these for close to 40 years now. Seems like a poor money grab.
3 ★The app is great and the selection is wonderful. My only problem is that my Steelseries Free controller isn't supported. The touch controls on Tempest are pretty bad and even though a controller isn't the best, it's better than touch.
3 ★Could use better controls you can buy games 1 at a time. Graphics and gameplay are same as on the system. They don't say anything but a copied and pasted response. Just make the game $5 so you don't trick people into thinking it is free. I thought it was free too. This is why it is 3 stars. If you had 10-20 free 'test' games it would be 5 stars. And saying the other games are to buy in description. This was a shame. Thought it would be better.
4 ★Very good retro gaming. Feel just like the arcade versions I spent many quarters at. My only complaint is the screen control. I feel it would be more comfortable to play if the screen played sideways without trying to cram your hands together to play it.
1 ★The game was game was good bought everything then started crashing. Restarted and Uninstalled. Then just today (Dec 1 2015) I Uninstalled it and said I do not have anything rip off!!!
