Description
5e Campaign Lab for DnD's encounter generator will allow you to generate endless encounters.The Encounter Generator lets a user customize their encounter with the following options:
•monster size
•type
•challenge rating (minimum and maximum)
•number of monsters (minimum and maximum)
•monster environments
•alignment (various options including any, including, excluding, etc.)
•book (include as many or as few books as you want)
•name
The Treasure Generator will generate treasure based on all of your items, gems, and art objects in your app's database including your own items.
5e Campaign Lab for DnD's Combat Tracker will help manage the combat portion of your generated encounter.
The Combat Tracker will help manage the following aspects of combat:
•players and monsters are sorted by their initiative initially but you are free to drag and drop them to wherever you like after combat starts
•round number
•elapsed time since encounter started
•whose turn it is
•player's and monster's hit points
•player's and monster's conditions
•all monster's traits, actions, reactions, and legendary actions are available
•monster's attacks are present

4 ★so like it's the smoothest, most organized app that I've ever had for D&D and I'm super happy I found it. But the big downside: Its not all that easy to navigate. I mean, relatively easy but still, it's hard to get to where you need to go quickly. and being a DM, I need to get to my notes FAST. My suggestion would be to put a drop down menu. That's a lot of source coding and all that, I understand why you wouldn't do that, the app is barely supporting itself (Also closed on me like twice) so ya.
4 ★It's a great app for a Dungeon Master, but I'm having an issue where whenever I run an encounter for my party, if I click on one of my party members in the tracker and then back out of that the app crashes instantly and this happens repeatedly without failure. If this could be fixed I would definitely give this a 5 star rating.
4 ★Am quite new to DnD, and this helps me a lot with sorting out the game, what to do and give, etc. Only problem is that the app crashes when I try to add an image in the notes, and after that I can no longer access the notes tab that the image is in. Im unsure as to if this is only because of low specs or because of the app itself, though. In any case, good app: just dont use images in it for the mean time.
5 ★Grate for new GMs and DMs who don't know what to do when it comes to how to make a campaign. This app is pretty much the best for that and more from a list of every magical item known to exist and continues to update every time. To the stats of monsters in every book. I can't wait until they even allow you to make a character sheet as well soon. Like I said a great app.
3 ★I've been using the free version for awhile and it's pretty great! Runs smoothly and has plenty of nice options, a real boon to my campaign. I just paid for the full version and now any time I use the encounter generator, it locks up after the first randomly generated encounter. Fix this or im going to ask for my money back soon.
3 ★I would give it 5 stars but even though it says you fixed the problem with it crashing when backing out of certain areas the app still crashes. In my case it's usually after adjusting stats in combat I hit the back arrow and it crashes almost every time. So if you could fix that, that would be amazing and I'll gladly change my rating
4 ★Mostly a great tool for DMing and I've used it both on my phone and my tablet. The downloadable content basically covers everything you'll need. I've only run into one issue with this app, when I change orientation on my device (portrait to landscape or vice versa), the app will often crash. This has happened during combat a few times and has really stopped the momentum of the battle because I was scribbling down the turn order and trying to remember enemy HP, etc. Hope the devs can fix this!
5 ★It's a useful tool for d&d 5e. Instead of having to flip between pages like I once did, I now have a tool that puts all my npc combatants in one place with the proper stat blocks. It has light campaign design elements that are nice to have, but aren't anything to write home about as it excels better at being a hub for your monsters, spells and magic items and a way to display your encounters in a less time consuming matter. I give it five stars as it accomplishes speeding up combat. A few things I would love to see would be on the fly minor adjustments for npcs that have special features from their base stat block and some minor redesign in the campaign menu- maybe harder lines between elements.
4 ★Fantastic software. I use it every session of D&D for planning and running encounters. My only complaint so far is that when my phone had to be replaced, my premium status did not seem to transfer. I emailed the contact number a week ago and still haven't heard anything. Overall, I highly recommend it, just don't lose it.
3 ★This has everything you need. spells, monsters, and if it does not, you can make them up and poor them in the app. i can't wait until the character update comes out. if it's half as good as the rest of the app, it's worth the buy. One problem i have is when i put in a custom monster, it doesn't save. Very irksome. Very!
1 ★I would love to give this a 5 star review because it should have everything a DM wants but I cannot recommend. The main reason I wanted this was to be able to make random encounters and have a calculator that allows me to do so. But the monsters list never stays for more than a few uses. I even asked support who gave me something that didnt help, told them it didnt help (and even put in a second email) and got no response. The app not working correctly makes it useless.
3 ★Great app. However, when I am attempting to import campaigns, it just doesn't work. I see the campaigns, but it will not import. I have tried everything I can think of. I would give full 5 stars if this feature would work. I took the time to back up my stuff, but so far it hasn't helped me. I emailed developer and no response.
