Emperor Zarch gave you the mission to defend planet Xenon, your homeworld, and to rescue its freespace. Thrust your R-type space ship as an elite fighter and destroy all the asteroids to become the master wing commander. The stellar event has disturbed trade routes with the Empire, and now the rebel general Gradius is preparing his rogue squadron to invade the colonies of Orion, in the Fox sector. These star systems could descent into the dangers of independence wars unless the routes are restablished.
GAME FEATURES
- Your ship is equipped with an ion cannon and automatic force field.
- Blow up as many rocks in Xenon’s orbit as you can, beware of debris.
- Reload your weapon and shield with the batteries deployed in space.

FUTURE VERSIONS
The casual gameplay in current version 1.x will become a mission in the much larger version 2 of Space Wing. The game is receiving a full rebuild, and will include interstellar wars and trade. You will take care of your empire by extracting planetary resources, building facilities, and conquering stellar objects with your army of drones. And you can also ride one of the different spaceships and take control of the events by completing missions such as orbital defense, fighting space corsairs, infiltrating into the colonies and more!
