Về Đạo đức, chúng ta chỉ tìm hiểu những Đạo đức căn bản trong khoảng ba mươi bài. Bấy nhiêu cũng đủ làm cho chúng ta cảm thấy vất vả, khó khăn. Vậy mà, đối với chư Thánh, Đạo đức được thể hiện ở “tám muôn tế hạnh”.

Chúng ta đã biết, một muôn là mười ngàn. “Tám muôn tế hạnh” là tám mươi ngàn tế hạnh, tám mươi ngàn điều về Đạo đức. Như vậy, so sánh với Đạo đức của các vị Thánh, chúng ta còn khoảng cách khá xa..."
