Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Have been using this for months now and realise that it's such a useful and reliable part of everyday music playing at home I'd better leave a review. Great to see developer engagement with the community as well. I only use Squeezer for controlling other home music devices at the moment. Since the death of Google Play Music and the cluster-**** that is YouTube Music I have been using DSAudio exposed through my firewall for playing music out-and-about but it's _really_ slow. Now thinking of accessing my LMS from outside as well but could do with a recommendation for an Android player for Squeezer to control
5 ★Another extremely happy user coming out of the woodwork to finally post a review. I'm using 1.5.1 and am super stoked with almost everything about it. I'd prefer the app stayed "where I left it", rather than going back to the entry point after being in the background, but that's a minor issue and just as likely to be a result of Android power management at play. Running QLMS on a Qnap NAS, a few Squeezeboxes and an Ikea Symfonisk. Squeezer brings it all together wherever I am in the house.
5 ★Great app for my use, Tidal HiFi streaming and internet radio. Used it for years with my Squeezebox Touch, Transporter and Duet. After two weeks using Bluesound Node (N130) I concluded Squeezer and the Logitech devices needed no replacement! Thanks to developers for all the work and no ads! May I suggest a donation link.
4 ★Nice app, however would you consider adding a 'clear playlist on exit' option, that would kill the stream after closing the app, it's very irritating that the stream continues after exiting the app. Another nice addition would be to unmute after a phone call ends rather than have to do it manually.
5 ★The original Logitech version stopped working past android 5.0, therefore I hunted down 8 android 5 tablets was paranoid not to able to find any if I would need one. I have 4 sqeezeboxes. Well playstore also stopped having the old app therefore I need to get it from 3rd party. I installed squeezer on my Android 5 tablets and on my Android 7 phone works like a charm. A little bit different but I get used to it. Everything works even the volume control. Perfect 👍
5 ★Excellent app. Connected immediately to my squeezebox touch. The interface is very intuitive and very much like what is on the device itself. Stable and easy to use. A number of years back I used one of the other ones that I had to pay $10 for and this is superior
4 ★Very nice! I'm glad I found this as squeeze commander no longer works. Can you please add the ability to select multiple tracks to delete quickly from the play list. I hate having to do it for each track. I'll pay for that feature alone!
1 ★Reinstalled the Squeezer again. And seems to be running better than after the update in May, as it doesnt loose connection as often (yet) Still the previous version had the option to download a song directly onto the phone, so one could change the playlist frequently. When will this option be available again?
5 ★Always worked great for me - love it, thank you. Such as shame it can't incorporate a player within the controller as it would be fantastic to be able to listen to music on my devices as well as control the server.
2 ★New version is awful. Previous was 4.5 stars. Album song list display is fixed, so +1 star. Selecting a song used to add it to playlist. Now replaces playlist w/ new album at selected song. No way to rearrange playlist. Totally unusable. Please revert. How is a user supposed to queue up songs in a playlist with this app?
4 ★Great app, unlike the other squeeze apps when I configure it to add a song to the current playlist it actually does it, instead of adding the whole album, I just wish the screen wouldn't go back to the main screen once the phones screen has been off for a while.
4 ★Great app, and very happy that download capability has returned. However, when downloading OGG Vorbis files the download feature works fine on Android 9 but on Android 10 devices the download method now used appears to force transcode the ogg to mp3. For example, a file named "file1.ogg" becomes "file1.ogg.mp3", stripping some of the tag metadata in the process. This means all files get lumped together under "unknown album", for example (regardless of media player used).
