4 ★Great experience it gives me the job I once had with a game called shepherds crossing; I love how you can go on and right throughout and create new items to help you on you way and I find it cool and creative for the mobs they have. The only thing I don't like is they don't have a higher movement speed option that can make this game even better if I could have an optional double speed enabler.
5 ★This is exactly what ive been looking for in a game! You have puzzles to solve, fight monsters, collect things in order to make different things. Mostly i love that there are very few ads and i can play the game as much or as little as i choose. Im not limited on lives or going to get bumped down for not scoring high in some daily tournament. Very happy with this game. Glad i downloaded it!!
2 ★I find it fun enough, but the single use items don't make much sense and they can become devastating to resources after a very brief time. I can not gather enough stick to save my life and they are used in dang near everything. It's fun but I feel some crafting recipes may need tweaks or perhaps availability of resources could be brought up. For instance the vines are just not plentiful enough. I had to spend two hours just collecting vines so I wouldn't have to stop and do it later
4 ★Downloaded this game to keep me busy while helping the kids during home school. This reminded me of a classic 2d game from a retro gaming system. The controls are responsive for a mobile game. You can play in short spurts and pick right back up from where you left off. The map is of decent size and there is some back and forth to keep track of but if it was all laid out in front of you the game wouldn't be fun. I have already downloaded the other two games. Good job developers.
5 ★I couldn't put it down. Died a lot...it can be challenging but VERY addictive. Loved that you have to get resources, improve what you have, solve puzzles, and fight monsters all in one game!! Plus it has that beautiful pixelated old school feel. Had a blast!! P.S. I spent $0.00 and I was able to beat both 1 and 2
5 ★Dark Souls Island is a game where you get stranded in an island and you need to gather resources to escape. Gathering resources, fighting, and crafting are the main mechanics and they are done really well. As you play you improve your attack and defense, and also defeat larger enemies, until you finally get home. Great game, great controls, great gameplay, could use a few improvements, I recommend. Tip: Learn to dodge, git gud, don't just tank enemies, step back and then hit.
5 ★Now that I reset the game and started over, I can say now I really enjoy the game. It's simple, pretty to look at, and a nice little challenge. Just some ideas; -I wish your character walked just the smallest amount faster. -Different food /health items taking less or longer "cool down" times. (i.e. Berries should cool down quicker then bread.) Just to give a little more of a reason to use those items in combination with each other. Keep it up guys love it!
5 ★Fun game, reminds me of the browser game "Castaway". They are similar enough that I would be surprised if this game is not inspired by it. Survival RPG is a 2D grid game that involves various components of survival and exploration. You forage to gather resources, which are used to make shelter, weapons, and tools to allow you to aquire better resources. There are several islands and caves to explore, each with their own mysteries and dangers that add to the enjoyability of this well-made game.
5 ★I really like this game it's simple to understand the basics of moving and collecting supplies but still really challenging to keep one interested. You can just collect mindlessly between busy times then when you have a little bit more time you can focus on moving on. I've played through before and just wanted to relive the fun.
4 ★This game is better than I expected! I went into this game thinking that it was going to be kinda trash, but it proved otherwise. The pixelated style makes it cute, and I like the way the hints were put in and how simple it is to gain diamonds. The only thing that bothers me is that getting certain resources is a liitle annoying because I need so much of them for certain things and it's very time consuming while I'd rather be moving on with the rest of the game than just farming the same thing.
5 ★This is the most fun I've had in 11 Mb! It's got a great difficulty ramp up, so that progressing feels like an accomplishment; also, there are almost always multiple directions to progress, and always, multiple mysteries waiting to be solved. I've gotten to 44% completion, and I'm excited for more!
2 ★Fun at first but got very grindy very fast. Some items take several steps to craft only to be a consumable item so you need to repeat those steps ad nauseam, and some of these consumable items like the knife or the mortar should last forever. Other items require ingredients that have a random chance of dropping, so if you need 5 spider webs you may have to kill 30 spiders to get them. Lastly the ads play too often. They should only play when you sleep or die, not every time you enter a cave.
