スマートフォンならではの操作性で世界を巡る本格RPGです。
画面をスワイプして移動し、コマンドウィンドウをスワイプでスクロールして選択、タップで実行する独特なインターフェースと操作性をもっています。一方でターン制バトルやマップ移動を採用した王道RPGでもあり、ローグライクと一般的なRPGの特徴を兼ね合わせた、今までにないロールプレイングゲームになっています。
タイトル画面では、「つづきから」「はじめから」「もどる」のコマンドを、画面をスワイプして選択してください。
「はなす」「たべる」「あらす」などのコマンドを、町の中でもフィールドでも、モンスターと戦っているときでも、自由に実行できます。モンスターに話しかけたり、道端の草を食べて回復したりお腹を下したり...どこまでも自由に旅を進められます。
どこに向かうか、どこまで進むかもプレイヤーの自由です。モンスターと戦うかどうかも自由。ときには逃げることも必要です。モンスターの中には、理不尽に強力なものもいます。あるいは、モンスターとの戦いで倒れることも、ひとつの選択肢かもしれません。倒れると、手に入れたアイテムなどほとんどのデータは消え、最初からプレイになります。しかしお金は次のプレイに引き継がれます。このゲームにはレベルの概念がありません。お金さえ持っていれば、最初の町で最強の武器を買い、そのままラスボスに立ち向かうことだってできます。すべては、プレイヤーの自由です。
このゲームでは、ちゃんと「セーブ」をしなければ、データが保存されません。アプリを閉じてしまったなら、以前にセーブしたところから再開されます。面倒ですが、もしいいところで敵にやられてしまっても、あのころのように、ゲーム機の電源を切るようにアプリを閉じてしまえば、またセーブ地点から再開することができます。
正統派RPGとして敵を倒しながら進むもよし、露店のチキンを盗むもよし、埋蔵金を求めて地面を荒らして回るもよし。プレイはすべて、あなたの自由。そんなレトロRPGを目指しました。
