ArmAmp is an audio player designed to be as easy to use as a desktop application. It includes basic features found in desktop players but almost impossible to find in mobile players. Also it allows advanced playback control hard to find even in desktop players, like ability to set exact frequency in every equalizer's band.Features include:
* Uses FFmpeg for decoding, meaning that it supports almost all audio file formats including mp3, ogg vorbis, flac, opus, real audio (*.ra), windows media audio (*.wma), monkey's audio (*.ape), musepack (*.mpc) and many more.
* Reads playlists: m3u, ram, pls, xspf, asx, cue sheet.
* Plays local files, files on remote filesystems, and any web stream including Shoutcast radio stations.
* Built-in file browser with:
- access to audio files on a local storage, Samba, Dropbox, Google Drive and WebDAV servers (WebDAV is supported by several clouds, for example Yandex.Disk, 4shared),
- bookmarks for easy access to often used folders.
* Gapless playback:
- for audio formats that natively support gapless playback,
- for gaplessly encoded mp3,
- for any mp3 option to remove silence.

5 ★The best music player that I've ever used on Android. Can play a lot of different audio file formats, sorts by folder and filenames very well, equalizer settings and lots of other features. Been using Wiktor's ArmAmp for a long time and before that, I am unsatisfied with other music/audio players. This ticks all the boxes for my needs especially with the addition of the "seek time" feature. Now makes it easily to go to the exact location of a long audio book. Thank you Wiktor for developing this very useful app. I can't commend your work enough.
5 ★This is a music giant. I swear to God, no music player can even come closer to it. I have used hundreds. This one is Father. Never ever seen such a hugely customize able Equalizer. I wish I could give 1000000000000 Stars. Well-done developer. God bless you.
4 ★Love this app. It is only player I could find that allows allsources--locally stored on device, LAN share, Cloud (Dropbox), & URLstream. Only one annoyance I wish could be fixed: When playing anythingfrom Internet (Cloud or USB stream via WiFi), as soon as I move away fromWiFi signal, ArmAmp does not search for phone's Internet data plan (oranother WiFi signal, for that matter) so as to continue playing. I have topress play button manually. Same vice versa when WiFi becomes availableafter listening via phone's data plan. Android is set to switch to dataplan when WiFi is lost, but ArmAmp does not appear to search for alternateInternet source. I gave 4 stars--will give 5 if this is fixed.
5 ★The player is great overall (coming from an audio nut), but the parametricEq is hardly usable if you don't know what you'll be getting.. had to useformulas to calculate and verify the Eq results. Make the switch to thestandard 'Q' in place of that, would be a huge step up! Also gotta beautifyit a little with album art on the Now Playing screen and decent layout, andthis would simply be the best player on the Store, period.
4 ★Amazing quality audio output! The default flat preset is the best, as is the case on most players, the rest of the presets is useless. The widget? 😂😂😂
5 ★I've tried every other music players for android and comparing them to this one is like to compare a monkey who play organ in the street to Toscanini! Absolutely love it. I just wish it could show artworks.
