3 ★I have played every AM game available right now and this has the WORST voice acting of ANY game I have ever played. You would have been better off without the use of voice acting altogether. Game isn't that bad with the sound off. So far so good.
1 ★We should all boycott artifex. Getting sick of this. You should state if the game has a bonus game before we spend 5 bucks for it. Unbelievable. Either add bonus games or make the games longer so us customers don't feel so robbed.
1 ★No bonus game. Horrible story. Horrible voice overs. Expected much more from these guys. This one isn't worth a penny. Keep your money folks. ..nothing to see here.
3 ★It was fun to play, good graphics and story, no glitches; but considering the price it was way too short and really should've had a bonus chapter. And seriously, either train your narrators or get someone who can read with some character. It had great potential, kind of a shame no one could put in a little extra effort.
4 ★the really annoying, dull and boring voice of the main character. OMG, I wanted to slap her around the face! Apart from that though, I did enjoy playing this game. The HOS and puzzles were fine, maybe a little too easy, and a bit disappointed that there was no bonus level. Al in all, I would recommend this game, but only when on sale. It's just too expensive for what it is otherwise.
4 ★I liked the interactive map, especially the reminder to look for the special object. The puzzles were interesting and a good variety. The only thing I didn't like was the actress voicing the lead. She isn't very good
3 ★I mostly enjoyed the game, it really wasn't bad, but it also wasn't 1 of my favorites by any means. The customization of hint recharge & the puzzle skip speed was nice, the mini games were ok, the HOS were so-so, & the map was helpful... my only complaints are the price, it was way too short for the cost, plus having no bonus chapter sucks! The story was very hard to get into with the voice overs being SOOO bad. I've never heard worse, actually, & never expected this developer would release such rubbish!
3 ★It was short and poorly acted. The technical aspects were good. I laughed out loud at some of the lines that were serious, like the receptionist being overjoyed at getting to cut boxes. I expect better from this company when I'm paying.
3 ★So far I am enjoying it. Haven't had a hidden object game which is a plus for me, I hate hidden object games. ......finished. .....there are a few hog. Short game for the cost. Dull ending.
4 ★It was a little slow but the games were better than simply point and click. I chuckled a few times because the acting in it is SO bad! I'm assuming the developers just used family members for the voices!
3 ★I normally love Artifex Mundi games, this one just doesn't pass muster. The voice actress is distractingly bad, and she voices all of the female characters. The plot is a little weak but overall ok, it just wasn't very developed. There were about only half as many locations is there needed to be. The mini games were too simple, to the point of being boring. There weren't nearly enough hidden object scenes, but the art was lovely. Even on sale, I wish I had passed on this game.
2 ★While imagery was great it lacked and skipped quite a number of details in the storytelling. For one, how did the main characters get back and how did Magnus where they were?! No sense of urgency and the deadpan way the main character was voiced over was quite painful to hear.
