El objetivo de esta aplicación es estimular la discriminación auditiva en pares de palabras que difieren en un solo fonema por varios o un solo rasgo distintivo y en contextos oracionales facilitadores y no facilitadores para favorecer la comprensión.
Esta orientado a jóvenes y adultos con alteración del lenguaje adquirido.
Si bien existen numerosos materiales en la web para estimular las distintas funciones del lenguaje, no satisfacen a la variedad de usuarios potenciales. Resulta necesario, entonces, contar con materiales adecuados a la región donde se desempeña el usuario y su edad. Especialmente para la comprensión auditiva debido a las variables fonológicas que hay en América y los regionalismos que enriquecen la lengua.
Este aplicativo trabaja la discriminación auditiva de fonemas y su reconocimiento. Es parte de un programa que abarca las cuatro funciones del lenguaje: comprensión auditiva, expresión oral, comprensión lectora y producción escrita, y los niveles de la lengua en forma contextualizada (no aislada): fonema, palabra, oración, discurso, conversación.
