Description
This plugin performs Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on behalf of other applications. It provides the possibility to capture text from printed books and newspapers by pointing the rear camera of your device.Note: please download this plugin only if you have an application that needs it.
The OCR plugin requires a back camera with autofocus to perform proper OCR functionality. Note that Google Play services are required on your device. This plugin recognizes only Latin Alphabet.
The following applications support OCR plugin to capture text via camera:
- Online, Offlline Dictionaries and Online Thesaurus by Livio, version 3.5 or later
⚠ In case text recognition does not work, please update Google Play Services to latest version and/or clear data of Google Play Services.
