Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★To the developer: It's best to make a custom domain for your app ID (i.e. com.stevenrudenko.sensortag). Works well for testing the TI SensorTag.
5 ★This got me exactly the info I need for building my app. Perfect for developers!
4 ★It reads and connects but that's it. Data is raw numbers so it's not useful. Get the official app instead. It's much more informative and actually useful
4 ★Better than nothing. Still has a bug on disconnect. There seems to be no way of forcing a disconnect with restarting the phone. I wish it worked as well as BlueLight for iOS.
5 ★Great UI. Keep up the good work!
5 ★Perfect
3 ★Tested and runs on a Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 10, both with nightly versions of CyanogenMod 10.2 (AOSP 4.3). Crashes on startup if Bluetooth isn't enabled. Other than that it works. It connects to the Ti SensorTag and reads sensors. Nothing more, nothing less.
4 ★The way this app has been designed, it's actually a great tool to begin development for any platform (not just the SensorTag). Currently I'm using the app to evaluate TI's KeyFob Dev Kit. While the two aren't completely compatible, the button notification service (simple keys) still works. I am experiencing some bugs that seem to be more Android related (a BT toggle fixes the problem). Using Nexus 7 (2013) for evaluation.
4 ★I haven't got my sensorTags yet so haven't been able to test the app. I've got a bug (HTC One M9) where if I disable Bluetooth at some point (seems fairly random when) I get a notification/progress tile attempting to turn on bt. This occurs even when the app is closed as far as the app manager is concerned. Hope this is helpful to you, also thanks for the app looking forward to getting my tags.
1 ★Unfortunatelly not working on LG G4. Not sure if it is the phone Android or the app but Sensor Tag is reckognized fine by the System - > BT settings but do not appear in the app. Could you suggest potential fixes? Thanks
2 ★Unable to use services from TI sensor tag CC2560. Nexus 5X. Connects OK.
