5 ★I'm one lesson in and it's already vastly superior to the original. Gorgeous visuals, awesome music, super fun features and Ruri Tunes reminds me of Dance Dance Revolution. I'm running it on a Samsung S9, and so far it's running just fine. Some features of the game may slow down your device or cause the game to crash, so please try making sure you have enough memory or storage before playing.
4 ★So far the game is really good. I love the story, the remixes are pretty good (except for Barbatos' song bc it doesn't sync up with the enemies). Though I do have a small complaint. I kinda miss the old battle style. Don't get me wrong, I understand it just released and it's supposed to be Ruri☆Tunes, but it just doesn't feel the same. Also the Extreme stages are WAAAAY too hard. There should be an option to skip Hard mode stages too. Also there's a bug with Levi's intimacy. It won't go past 5
2 ★It's just more of the same issues from the old app. The difficulty spike was already an issue, but now it's more annoying! Why am I failing the rhythm games when I'm not missing notes? Because my cards can't be leveled up because I'm not spending money for more grimm! It's the beginning of the story, there shouldn't be difficulty beating the first lessons. The story isn't bad, but I'm frustrated to be starting a new plot line when I just want to continue where the old app left off.
2 ★I like it more than the original, but there are a lot of bugs. Many times when I'm first clearing a level in the pop quiz or ruritunes (meaning doing the jumping and game part of it) when I finish, it never loads and then freezes and shuts down. Then when I open it back up it doesn't remember it at all. Also, there are many story chapters that freeze while loading and then force quit. It happens all the time and it's so frustrating.
4 ★The game's pretty cool. There are some new cool things like the DDD and app designs. However, some things bug me. 1) The songs in the rhythm games have been altered to more... beat-full songs and different rhythms. I get why they were changed, and they are still good. I just personally liked the original version of the songs better. 2) The 3D models look a bit odd and are glitchy at times. Otherwise, this game is nice. 80% recommended if you've played the OG Obey Me! game.
5 ★(I know the devs are aware of bugs and are fixing them. Thank you, devs! 🖤) Updated review: My battery was low and interfered with gameplay. Highly recommend a charged device! I'm here for the story yet again, and the interactive capabilities of the D.D.D. layout and with characters never ceases to amaze me. I haven't made much progress due to technical difficulties on my end, but I think this game is pretty RAD so far. 😈
4 ★The game so far is fun! The story is interesting as are the events, but there are also some glitches. Can't be called a rhythm game unless your rhythm is super off, it's mostly just tap at the screen and hope you hit it. The 3d thing is weird, I'm sorry they're just janky😭 Upgrading cards is okay but the amount of power needed for some levels is wild. There will be no way to get even a passing C unless you use boosters too. Overall it's fun but do expect to have some sort of bug when playing.
1 ★I want to like this. Especially as it's fun. But it's getting one star for how absolutely difficult they are making it to upgrade cards. The skill levels require their own "jokers" to be able to upgrade that tier. Unlike the original where all of the skill levels happen at the end of the tree, they now occur throughout. Add this to the fact that you already need strong cards so early in the game and it's frustrating. I quit the original because of the grind. This is going to end up the same.
3 ★I like that we get more story content but the app drains my battery super fast, the event is the same as the original. The songs are too repetitive . The interface does seem smoother and I wish we could get it in the original. Overall I'll probably just use it as a way to get extra cards that im unable to get in nightmare on my main for their stories
2 ★Good game! only problem is, its not really in much for rythem gamers. it has the regular obeyme playstyle: 2 or 1 level and then 2 or 1 things of story. but the only problem is it's boring for just playing for the rythem aspect. There isn't any way to play random songs (other then the ones you unlock) which are also locked at a difficulty you can't change. Another thing is the hit sounds, they dont sound that nice and there isn't anyway to change them, especially the hold button sound.
5 ★The game is well made, and the storymode offers something different than the base game. The rhythm portion of the game is *very* similar to another rhythm game, Muse Dash. Both games have similar note aspects, random notes popping up for example. The beat maps aren't difficult to master, but they're still good. It's still RPG-esc. Overall, it's a well-made game with 3D assets, outside of the gameplay. Though, on occasion some taps don't register.
1 ★When I saw this game coming out as a music game similar to muse dash, I was all for it. Until I jumped into the game, and its the same as others. There's so many loading screens and on top of that, it took me so long to clear the tutorial because of the glitches. I hope they fix both of these but if not, def not a recommend as of right now :/
