2 ★This app functions but is kind of useless and waist of Space. The App does function with color display and the green display. It only works good with the mic that is in the system but not with external mic. This app is useless because you can't do any of the settings unless you upgrade and pay. All you can do is switch colors and scrolling or wrap around. Waist of time and space don't bother you can't do anything with it that would be useful even free apps should allow you to change settings and do calibration. All said and done, give it two stars only for the good spectral display.

1 ★Waste of time and nag screen. Spectroid outperforms this app right out of the box.
5 ★This is epic, you can see in real time how your voice (singing, whistling) "looks" - frequency wise, and also any other sound inputs. Helps with understanding harmonics and basic muscal stuff, it's much clearer if you can SHOW to people in real time, with examples, how a musical instrument or voice sound is actually several different compound frequencies, and how there's harmonic rules between them. Very fun to play with, am looking for something like this on the PC, to be able to make videos with it :)
3 ★Interesting for what it is - a simple real-time 8khz spectral display of ambient bg noise as received by your phone or tablet mic. So since it is what it says on the tin: 3 stars (average). You might get some use testing your car stereo and making comparisons. Needs hold and wider range. Or function to analyze recordings? Just "meh".

1 ★This app was one of my favorites and I've used it for years but it doesn't seem to work any more. The spectrogram is just blank on my Nexus 5X (Android 8.1).
