Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Weather@SG is an Excellent app. It was useful to see temperature and rainfall in graphs for the last 12 hrs for any location. This newer MyEnv app sadly lacks these features. The new MyEnv app is slower to update the rain areas map than Weather@SG. It can be as much as 15mins delayed, which isn't helpful because of the rapidly changing weather in Singapore. Also location icons on MyEnv are so large they block the area of interest on the map. Replace a (4.6* Weather@SG) with (1.4* MyEnv) ??
1 ★Not able to ad hoc check current observations at other locations unless add to to my locations. For rain movement, one hour is too short to observe the changes, should be at least 2 hours for spore and 6 hours for regional. Humidity data, past 24 hours temperature graph, 2 hours nowcast missing. Wind data is 20 mins behind current time.
1 ★Never have I seen an UI so poorly designed. It's messy, clunky and full of unwanted information that is shoved right up your face. The previous app - Weather@SG has all the UI done right. It's clean and very user-friendly. Why the need to change when the previous one isn't broken?
1 ★Newer app have poor user interface which make displaying of weather data at a glance more difficult compare to older version despite looking more fancy. Option like wind direction is so hidden and rain movement need to select overlay everytime. Software team really need to sit down, really try the old application, compare and rethink about the whole human computer interaction for the UI/UX that suit for mobile usgae.
3 ★If you are only interested in the weather, the old Weather@SG app is more user-friendly than the myENV app. All the info in the old app is there in the new app, but you need to search around for them. However, the 2-hour weather forecast feature is missing. The app initially tries to make you sign-on using you google or social media accounts, but you can bypass this by skipping these steps.
3 ★It's Ok. Good attempt. But where is the refresh button??? My app keeps getting stuck at rhe initial time stamp. Sometimes I just wanna know the weather immediately when I'm on my bike with gloves, I'll need to open the app, click the drop down, select filter, swipe back down again... And the map may not be in the right position cos it shifted while swiping. Quite frustrating. Weather app was just Open > Rain Areas. I'm posting this because I really want it to work. :)
1 ★Can't click on notification bar, nothing happens and the message we all suppose to see is placed far right on the bar. My env shows date and time then the message, which is half visible. Wherelse weathersg app shows the full text of message. Weathersg app was more user friendly and weather message appears correctly no need to even click any further on the notification bar. This app seriously need to overhaul.
4 ★Updated review: Google account profile link no longer required. All reports seems to be working correctly now. Regional alert like Earthquake is timely delivered. Good improvement. 4-day forecast is also available now. Particularly appreciate Flash Flood alerts with map location. Suggestion: Allow user to dismiss the "Location Services disabled" banner.
2 ★I would rather go to Google to search up the weather instead of fiddling with this. Sorry. The previous app was so much clearer. I appreciate the attempt to make the app look fresher, but I just really need the the weather info, not a fancy interface.
1 ★Soo bad. I can't even open the app. I unintall it and use the old app till the end. Now I install it again and I can't even go in. Wow.. Can I give it zero stars since I can't even access the app? The message is "your session is unauthorized or has expired". Developers pls do something. How can u expire an existing good working app and replace with a terrible one? And this is supposed to be govt board.
1 ★This app is not informative compared to the discontinued Weather@SG. Weather forecast is only given for general areas (North, South, East, West, Central) and not more specific areas that the discontinued app has. There's no 2h forecast, only a 6h forecast is given which is not infomative enough. The app is also not as intuitive as Weather@SG. Why replace a perfectly working app with something thst is not as informative and not user friendly?
1 ★When something is good, keep it and enhance on it. Don't be a hero and change to whole app to make it look complicated. This is the local term of 'Being Extra, Act Hero & Wayang'. Just switch it back to the old interface and make our lives easier.
