1 ★Well,I am very dissapointed,first of all,you have to pay for the full game,second there are many bugs,the enemy can ignore your turns and hit you 3-4 times,the game is not balanced at all,I reached lvl 60 at tournament XVII,but still got totally beaten,they have much more points than your character can EDIT the first one is yes and no,the devs need money too,but it's too annoying to have barely any content in free mode
1 ★Guessing my last review was deleted, so I'll say it again. Game is a glorified demo. Games like these are still free on flash game websites. You get about 10% into the game and your met with a paywall and cant continue with your character. I'd say its worth skipping. Which is a shame because the game is decently entertaining.
2 ★The Bots JUST KEEP HEALING UP. I CAN'T FIGHT BECAUSE I LOSE EVERY SINGLE ONE. WHY THE HELL CAN THEY HEAL UP!? WHY CAN'T I HEAL UP!?
3 ★Pros: Nostalgia Easy game to pick up and play for a little or a lot Graphics look great Very responsive and easy on battery Cons: The difficulty scaling seems unfair at times and because of that it feels like many builds are unplayable or very weak Some UI elements, such as checking your own equipment in shoppes seems clunky Verdict: It's fun to play casually but Id rather buy the flash version than buy anything for this one, especially if you've already played the flash version.
1 ★Good game but unless you pay you can't play past the first few fights, also it won't save any progress you make. Seeing as we are 2019 and aside from ads you can make money from in game micro transactions I don't see why limit your earnings by just blocking the advancement of players. You could've made a lot more money out of this game (and make it way more famous). This poor decision is what doomed this game to never have a 3rd game
2 ★Waste of time. They should have a disclaimer that after the second tournament you can no longer use that account ever until you buy what they call a "pack" in the game. I thought it was only a bonus pack but apparently you need it to play the whole game. Don't be fooled, was fun until they ruined all my saving up and annoying defeats and grinding. Please fix this, or at least warn players before they play.
5 ★Absolutely love the work put into this game and definitely brought back some old memories! I remember when me and my brothers were kids, we would all crowd around our ancient windows computer and grind the mess out of this game. I loved every second of it and I still do, btw read the description next time guys it's not exactly the full version to start off with..but seeing as how this game will never be forgotten in my household. I would gladly support the original creator with the game purchase
2 ★Well, there are a lot of issues. Main one is, anything but Magic or Swords, in that order, is simply not viable, especially in Hard Mode. Watching some magic user pour out 1k damage while a bow gets barely 200 with a STRONG HIT is just disgusting. There are also a lot of weird errors I can't even begin to describe. What HAPPENED, S&S? You're better than this, better than this janky cash-grab.
3 ★I must admit, I had a great time playing but one think made me quite angry. PAY TO KEEP PLAYING? It disgust me that I have to pay to play a game. Can't it just be free? it's enough already with ads and trying to get me to buy Maximus but To pay to keep playing? Uncool. I would have rate this even more if it weren't for that.
4 ★Definitely an awesome game concept which has stood the test of time. I don't know why anybody would think it's a good idea to have tournaments where you face opponents that are way stronger than you and are sometimes almost double your power level?? Oh I should mention I'm playing on the normal difficulty setting too. Highest I've ever gotten is a LVL 36 gladiator before the game becomes unplayable/unpleasant. Facing opponents that can 1hit crit you and fully heal themselves becomes tedious.
5 ★Great game loved it, could do with more new ideas though in an update
2 ★This game needs some balancing. I have had several gladiators that are stuck very early on that keep dying in the tournaments. I level up past the required in the tournament, then the Gladiators I fight are way too powerful to reliably beat, and it's hard to get better weapons and Armour, and I continuously die, unable to progress. Opponents also block my attacks much more than I can block them, despite me having Superior weapons and Armour. I then die from people with cutpurse Armour.
