Description

Amahi is an app that easily allows you to stream and access the files in your Amahi server. This app is Chromecast-enabled.

Amahi runs on your device and can access your server's files without a VPN.

This application requires that you have an Amahi server (otherwise known as HDA for "Home Digital Assistant")[1].

Amahi does not require VPN and all it requires is the corresponding Amahi Anywhere app running your server. Once connected, either locally or remotely, you can browse all your shares and browse, open documents, and stream videos from your Amahi server.

How to install Amahi APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download Amahi APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Go to your phone Settings page

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

1 ★When changing shares and settings the app never syncs to the new setup

4 ★Great app, should have a download file option. At least on my device only have a share option.

5 ★It keeps spinning and sometimes it says "Connection error". Not very satisfied, I hope you fix it. Edit: It's working now, I had to reboot the router, which also fixed another problem. Very satisfied now thanks to fantastic and fast support. Also works off site!

3 ★Great for streaming but it will not let me view my apps.

4 ★I found it odd when I re-organized some folders in the shares and had to rename a couple folders , the app had to be deleted and re-installed to recognize the differences ... and it continued to show folders that were no longer there until the re-install . Overall a very nice app ... hope to see future abilities soon such as upload and delete . Which I'm sure has been requested already

4 ★This is a wonderful app to have on your phone or tablet. I have been using it for a month or so and quite pleased with the performance. I don't use the streaming function much, mostly for access to my files. I like having my files available without having to use WiFi. The interface is simple, yet elegant, and easy to navigate even on my phone. Very professional and responsive. I have installed it on Samsung Galaxy S4, Nexus 7, and Kindle Fire HDX with positive results. For those of us with multiple HDAs, it would be best if the app would allow for a default HDA. Mine comes up to a secondary one vs the primary one due to naming. So I have to select the correct one each time. Also my Amahi apps are only available with WiFi. Overcoming this limitation would further solidify this app.

4 ★I am very happy that amahi finally released this. However, this doesn't get 5 stars because the sorting of tracks on an album seems to be a bit incorrect. Instead of going track 1,2,3, it goes 1,10,11. Seems like a minor problem and hopefully will be addressed in future releases.

4 ★Great for doing the little things to keep the server running. Also for grabbing those pesky files that you forget at home.
