Speedshifter Lite APK Download for Android

Description

Designed for musicians, Speedshifter Lite is a demo of Speedshifter, a practice tool that enables you to adjust the speed of any audio track without altering the pitch. It is perfect for musical, slow practice to a recorded accompaniment. Developed by ABRSM (the exam board of the Royal Schools of Music), it can be used with any compatible track in your music library* to help you learn new pieces.

This free lite version has all the functions of Speedshifter, but playback stops and must be restarted after 60 seconds. It is useful for working on short passages of music, or to evaluate how Speedshifter performs on your own device before upgrading to the full version. *Please note* that making an in-app upgrade to the full version does not change the name of the app on your device. The app will still be named Speedshifter Lite, but the one minute playback restriction will have been removed, giving full functionality.

Speedshifter Lite can also be used to:
- listen closely to tricky pieces you’re finding particularly hard to learn by slowing them down
- focus on specific sections using the loop function
- transpose a track up or down in semitones to fit with a preferred key or range
- set a reference tempo (BPM) by tapping in time with a track
- store tapped BPM and loop points automatically (once you’ve registered)
- sync BPM and loop settings seamlessly across devices once you’ve downloaded the free desktop version (http://www.abrsm.org/speedshifter)
- sound a tuning note – simply shake for an A!

* Important info
- Speedshifter Lite Android currently supports playback of MP3, OGG, FLAC and WAV files stored on your device. It cannot access files stored online in cloud accounts.
- Speedshifter Lite allows repeated playback of any track from any starting point for up to 60 seconds. It is a free demo version of Speedshifter. The full version of Speedshifter does not feature this restriction on playback time.
- Please note that making an in-app upgrade to the full version does not change the name of the app on your device. The app will still be named Speedshifter Lite, but the one minute playback restriction will have been removed.

1 ★Unable to select a track to play, don't know why, just can't. Works fine on PC, maybe my phone isn't up to it.

1 ★I could not even select a music track. It lists all the songs available in Google Play on the device, but not in other folders (e.g. Amazon MP3 not available, where I keep most of my accompaniments), in a long list with no search. Then every track I chose was deemed incompatible. Why show tracks that cannot be selected?

1 ★Downloaded lite. Can't even open a track to test it and I agree with others than one minute is far too short. I thought limited to one minute meant that you could only play one minute of a track but no limit on number of tracks. Disappointed as it works well on laptop but having on phone or tablet would mean not having to mess around taking laptop into practice room.

1 ★I have tried to download both the paid version and the lite version and neither has appeared on eithrr phone or tablet. Very disappointing I paid for this app and downloaded both paid and free version s but neither would dowload on tablet or phone. Very disappointing.

1 ★I bought the upgrade but now can't find it on my phone. I received an email with proof of payment but the actual app continues to tell me that I can't play the whole song because I have the lite version. Please fix this. If you can't I would like to know how I can get my money back.

3 ★Its too short a trial.... but enough to see it was better than another app in sound.... not enough to realise the short comings of the jog bar or file selection system. Also there seems to be some issue when upgrading to paid with the icon being renamed. I now have crashing issues and having taken the leap of faith and paid for the full version am very disappointed. I have contacted the ABRSM and will see what develops.... I have faith for now
