2 ★Edited Review. Fun game, but it has robbed me twice. On two occasions that I have purchased 5x starsteel, the game freezes and I never receive my items. I can confirm that I was charged. Will probably never make a transaction again with this app.
2 ★Game is really laggy on my Samsung Tab A. Text is really tiny and hard to read in many areas (UX). Can't tap to use buildings in city (bug); sometimes the building menu flashes for fraction of a second. Could only interact with buildings during forced tutorial steps, but only after tapping fast for 5+ seconds (bug). Hero level up forces player to wait for several seconds before can continue (UX). Resource available for production seems out of place: better near costs? Game needs pollish.
1 ★Purchase not awarded - made a purchase of a promo pack, and items were not awarded. Contacted support and received no response. Not a good sign. Update - after three weeks still not resolved. Got an email saying it should be fixed, obviously was not, then crickets. Crunchyroll never should have sold their name for a quick buck with all these shoddy mobile cash grabs.
1 ★They have taken multiple aspects of a bunch of games (city building, match-3, gacha and rpg) and put it in a bag and whacked it against a brick wall until this game came out. Pt2- opponents have an unfair advantage. At -2 levels its hard to win, but you can be +14 levels and still not get 3 stars. You rarely cc them, but you will have turns where ¾ of your team is frozen, stunned, or most likely taunted. I don't mind a challenge, but I prefer a fair challenge.
4 ★excellent,like everything so far,graphs,gameplay, tutorial.changed rating game is solid,kinda reminds me of fire emblem.but this seems to be a pay to play n pay to win.dont mind the grind.occasionally don't mind $$ for a item.but not enough energy.and can't achieve levels,due to have to spend $$$$ on starsteel for upgrades.this not even getting at least some items, often, enough.
2 ★I tried, but I couldn't do it. The lack of voices compeled me to skip any story there might have been. The daily free items (draw for only shards and chest with so little obtained) was trying to feed a starved man a cookie. Best of luck for the next 24 hours, guy! So much can be improved on, but I know the game seems new... so I shall wait and see how it builds. 😀
3 ★Gameplay is decent from gem matching game. Each color gem does something different for each hero. Developers are REALLY stingy with resources. They obviously want you to pay to progress. Energy is limited but refills decently quickly, but reward drops from dungeons gate you hero/equipment upgrades. I've been playing 5 or 6 days now and am stuck at stage 20 because I can't level heroes and can't summon any new ones. Summons also give shards, which sucks.
3 ★The game is good overall, nice core mechanics, good artworks, etc. However. The long (like 2-3 seconds) transitions between screens and far too many screens to pass along the core loop really breaks the user flow and drains fun out of it.
3 ★It's a charming game. But it is very stingy with the resources to make equipment and xp boosts. I feel like I've been stuck in the beginning for over a week with casual play and I can't progress very well without making new equipment or to be able to boost my characters.
1 ★The story and character graphics are the only thing I enjoy from this. The gameplay is a very basic match 3+ style with forced characters. The first 3☆ character is after 12h mission timer which (in my case a fugly dude) is absolutely garbage, and worse off then my starter ones. The paid currency to draw is a crazy amount, $5 for two pulls at a very low rate. The town building is bland and with how low drop rates in general are, the hero building is very very minimal compared to the time put in.
2 ★Relaxing but rewards are terrible. You're looking at $3 to summon 1 unit. Not even a pull of 10. 1 singular 1-3 Star (out of 5) unit is $3. Energy system, town hall upgrades like clash of clans, it just feels incomplete. None of the features feel like they tie into each other.
3 ★Fun but not amazing the game is actually pretty fun but dang its not really exciting or anything. I love this concept and wish more effort got put into this game or more games like it.... It feels a bit dull to be honest and i can see why someone would want to stick around to play this but i honestly dont see this game getting much hype or going anywer, probably wont go to far and wont last too long on the market, sad lol you can surely do better than this crunchyroll??
