UD Link provides an explorer function including CD/DVD, audio file or CD playback and extraction function, audio album management function, and interactive data backup function including cloud in Android System (TV, Smart Device).

Guide for connecting this application to a portable DVD writer :
1. Connect a supported portable DVD writer and Android device according to user's manual.
2. Click 'OK' on pop-up window to choose the application for USB device on Android device.
3. UD Link will start on Android device and connection will be completed.
※ Note
1. If you disconnect USB OTG cable during ODD operation, it will not work correctly.
2. If there are other applications that recognize USB device installed on smart device, connect ODD after cancelling 'LAUNCH BY DEFAULT' at Apps menu in Settings on smart device.
3. To eject the disc inside ODD during video/music playback on the player works on with, terminate the player and then press eject key of ODD.
4. For playback of video files in DISC EXPLORER, playback action might be delayed or suspended by some compatibility issues depending on the player works on with.
5. For high resolution sound files such as 32bit, 24bit in AUDIO CD BURNER, play sound might be abnormal if you burn them onto a disc because their bitrate is over CD's bitrate.

4 ★I wanted a way to play cds in a new car without a built-in cd player, and the Hitachi-LG GP96Y plus this app over Bluetooth fits the bill. Only things missing to make this 5 stars are 1) Android Auto integration and 2) resuming playing where you left off when stopping the app or disconnecting the drive. I hope the developers will add these features! I haven't tried ripping/burning or any of the cloud functionality so I can't comment on that. Phone: Samsung Galaxy S10e w/Android 12
3 ★Google complained that the app attempted to access sensitive information, when attempting to log in! Also, blinded by the light - app needs a dark mode (Black background prefered)
5 ★THE GREATEST THING EVER TO EXSIST! Being able to rip CDs to 34-Bit .WAV, FLAC & 320Kbps format just by using my phone is a miracle since my PC doesn't work anymore! Easy to use and is a must have for CD collectors! Keep in mind this works with certain drives. I can say it works with Hitachi LG GP96Y CD/DVD Drive! My only complaint is that there's no Error Correction Option when ripping CDs. Hope that becomes a option in the future. Other than that 10 / 10, will tell other people!!!!!!
2 ★It rips/burns/plays fine on my Samsung tab S8+. But it doesn't insert meta data nor is there any way to edit the songs before ripping.
1 ★Same result as with DISC LINK Platinum... So I leave just the same comment here as for that app: Doesn't work in Android 13, at all. Tested with Hitachi-LG and with another DVD drives, with all CD and DVD formats, including the most basic one - Audio-CD. Result: nothing works. Though OTG CD/DVD device recognized by the system as an external memory drive connected, its content can't be accessed anyway, this app doesn't fix this issue. Should it work with Android 11 or 12 at least?..

1 ★Disappointed, took a while but I got it to work with CDs but no matter what I can't get it and it's companion app to work on playing DVDs or blu rays. Also app kept crashing and the UI was straight out of 2013 which I can accept, if it works!
