اولین آلبوم او باران نام دارد که در ترکیه ضبط شد و به وسیله شرکت ترانه به مدیریت وارطان آوانسیان و جهانگیر طبریائی در سال ۱۹۹۲ میلادی در سراسر آمریکا و اروپا پخش شد.
بعد از موفقیت این آلبوم، امید راهی آمریکا شد. ثمره‌ی آن سال‌ها چهار آلبوم دیگر به نام‌های «هر دو عاشق» (۱۹۹۴)، «سربلند» (۱۹۹۵)، «حضرت عشق» (۱۹۹۷) و «پرسه‌های عاشقانه» (۱۹۹۸) بود.
