Description

Learn Chinese and find love with Kaitlyn during her adventurous year in China!

When the self-consumed, all-American prom queen wannabe Kaitlyn gets sent to China as a punishment, she must navigate the waters of the language, the culture shocks... and the boys. It's a West meets East romantic comedy about some of the pitfalls of living in China and struggling to belong.

...........................
The NAQ (Never Asked Questions) that nobody asked for.

When did all this begin?
I got the concept while in China and had always tried to write the first chapter in novel form, but it never panned out. I couldn't decide between Wu and Gao as the main love interest, and so developed both of them. In June 2014 I contacted Anne with the concept and she took it on. It was a labor of love from that point on. Labor being the key word.

Why did you make this?
For a few key reasons.
1. Apps for learning Chinese are often BORING and have no feel good romance to inspire you to language learning heights.
2.The AMWF demographic is underrepresented in almost all forms of media. There are a lot of challenges in China for mixed-race couples and I wanted to shed some light on that.
3. Otome visual novels tend to have shy girls as the lead instead of strong, independant girls who can get their own romance. I think bland lead characters don't deserve to have boys falling all over them for no reason whatsoever. It's unrealistic.

Is there a sequel planned?
Possibly, but we need all the inspiration we can get to do it. So don't hesitate to review, comment or send us an email.

If you liked Wanted: Dragon you will almost certainly like this and vice-versa.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★I loved the experience... it was actually more heartwarming than a lot of games I've played. I also like that there were more than ten options to choose from, though the story was mostly the same. The thing is... towards the end when (spoiler) Wu confessed, it kind of wasn't obvious cuz none of the moves were made on each other beforehand. Like I feel like there should've been more progression between their relationship as a whole and it would've ended nicer. Last thing, the extras doesn't work.
5 ★I really enjoyed reading the story (thrice today, prolly more later), and learning chinese. I've just started C-classes last semester, the game helped recalling what I'd already learned. However, when not understanding a word it was a bother to browse the whole vocabs. Also, the game lacks tests. Well, I'll drop by lemmasoft forums for feedbacks later, here I'll just say the story was entertaining and sweet, and Kai-te funny, not annoying at all, I really laughed a lot thkx to her xD
3 ★Overall i liked knowing more about China and the language..but just if she was more polite it would be more tolerable...seriously they should have came up with a better story not offending and talking about Asians like trash..America wouldn't be great if everyone including Asians and foreign immigrants didn't live there..cheerleading is a cheapthing to do..there are more important stuff in life than wasting it with proms and stupid relationships...
5 ★Educativo y entretenido.
1 ★Kaitlyn is completely unlikable as a protagonist, so it was a real struggle to keep playing the game or care about her development at all. Very rarely have I so loathed a character. Holden Caulfield is a house cat in comparison. The Chinese words are read aloud, which would be nice if they weren't mispronounced. The music is takes me out of the story, though here I would consider that a blessing. Physically tearing up a dictionary, blending it with cement and spider legs, and forcing that down my throat would be a preferred learning method to playing this game.
5 ★Kaitlyn is a delight and I'm learning a lot too :)
5 ★good app to learn chinese.
3 ★I acknowledge the effort you have put into developing this game. The art is very beautifully drawn and lovely music, interactive ways of learning is very nicely done. It's just some of the dialogue may seemed a bit offensive to some people. Although Kaitlyn is a strong character, and well developed, majority of the things Kaitlyn said (and/or thought) are offensive. This may affected the overall gameplay for some player. Especially if an asian is playing it. :)
5 ★This story is hilarious and it's a cool concept. Hilarious being I just got past meeting Meng and up until then I couldn't stop laughing. And Cool Concept being that you play as an American in China and haven't got a clue on what anyone is saying. But the character and the player eventually learn Chinese. The character isn't the greatest, being a Stereotypical American Diva, essentially, but is still better than some protagonists I've played as in Games and Visual Novels.
5 ★Learning a lot and nicely made
