Description
CVC Maker and Three Letter Word Generator is designed to help students practice blending and reading these simple three letter words. I have made it as a helper app for teachers and schools mainly but it can be used for practice in homes.It is purposefully simple so that it is accessible to all ages, and I have tried to ensure only CVC words can be made so that the more difficult vowel combinations are not here. (aw, ir, er, oy etc) I may make one that focuses on them later.
The letters are completely random but I have made it so there can be additional practice with onset and rime, but making the last two letters a different colour.
It is just one button, and also is online and in an exe file if you need.
Hope it helps, i used one from 20 years ago and it was really useful to have students practice their phonics skills. I even made a game of it in the classroom and awarded points for correct answers.
